Hello guys, I just received a biometric request letter and an ADR to submit my wife’s Passport(unaccompanied), I submitted her NIN in my application.
My first question is does the Biometric request means my application has been reviewed?
My second question is should I submit her expired passport and application documents for the new one which is not out yet?
Thank you, I have seven days to reply the ADR.

Sir I believe you’re mixing business with law school that’s why you’re having issues with it.
Law school is not difficult like that if you can just focus all your attention to it. There are constant 2 questions, for example in criminal law, you’re sure of getting charges and trial as compulsory questions.
Try to perfect these two recurring questions in all Courses and freestyle the rest.
Don’t cram cases and sections, just understand the principles. You won’t get a first class or 2.1 but you’ll get a 2.2, good luck.
If you have your bar certificate you’ll be able to combine it with your business and make more money.
Even if you plan on traveling it will be easier to be a dual qualified lawyer👍

Travel / Bring Nigeria Closer To Your Kids With 'colors Of Nigeria' by Hamza05(m): 7:39pm On Nov 23, 2023
Dear Naija Parents Abroad,

As we navigate life away from our beloved homeland, the desire to connect our children to their rich Nigerian heritage grows stronger. That's the inspiration behind 'Colors of Nigeria' – more than just a coloring book, it's a loving bridge to our culture.

Every page is a journey: from coloring the grandeur of Zuma Rock to discovering the lively scenes of our traditional markets. It’s not just an activity, it’s an exploration of identity, an embrace of where we come from.

This book is your child's companion in understanding and loving their Nigerian roots. It sparks conversations, nurtures curiosity, and fosters a sense of pride in our unique heritage.

And the best part? You can reprint pages anytime, making it a lasting treasure in your family. For just $5, 'Colors of Nigeria' is not just a gift of fun; it's a gift of connection, identity, and endless exploration.

Let’s give our children the colors to paint their Nigerian story. Available now on Gumroad https://abdulwasiuhamzat.gumroad.com/l/ktzyp
– a small step to bring Nigeria closer to their hearts, no matter where we are.

Please support my small business and help spread the joy and culture of Nigeria to our children abroad.

With love and Nigerian pride

Hello
Please need help with this.

Can soneone claim work experience in a country where one was not a legal resident? That is if his visa had expired?
Will the visa officers check to see the legal status of the applicant in that country he is claiming work experience for?
This is one of the reasons I love immigration law.
Personally I would argue that if you can get all the necessary documents to prove your work, it will be fine.

Thanks, but then their birth certificate carries their mother's name alongside mine, so it might raise an eyebrow later when I want to move them.

What's your take please?
What you can do is claim single, get an approval of custodianship from the mother and then notarize it for a legal backing. People have children outside wedlock

Dear great minds. I commend what you're doing well.

Please I need help as I cannot find anything about my case online.

I am about to fill the Express Entry form and I need guidance so I don't make mistakes

I'm confused as to what status to choose in the EE form as I am separated from my wife. We didn't do any court wedding, we only did niikai and a certificate was issued by the Muslimclerics (Alfas). This is where the issue is; since the wedding wasn't binded by any legal means, and we are separated, I cannot provide any legal documents as the wedding wasn't done in the court. My question is,

1. what status is best to choose on the EE form ?
2. If I choose "legally separated" whicg is the truth and the IRCC asks for proof, what proof can I provide?

Please assist as this has been delaying me since cos I want to make sure I do the right thing from the start.

Thank you as you help
Since you were never legally married, you cannot be legally separated. Just put in Single and don’t complicate things for yourself.

Just concentrate at 100%, pay attention to the instructions (eg only one word or a number), if you miss an answer, move on quickly else you will miss a whole section.

I was always stuck at 7.5 during practice till I wrote and scored 8 twice.
Thank you so much.

Hello Seniors in the house,

I expect to get ITA in the next one or two draws (IRCC will come through in Jesus name)

I've been preparing to get my work reference letters but someone told me that I only need a letter from my primary occupation (the one I used to claim work experience points). As it stands I have the said occupation from 2016 - 2022 and two other jobs from 2022 till date.

Although I filled the three jobs in my work history, the first one I know gave the points - do I still need to prepare letters from the other two or just add them to personal history post ITA?

NB - I didn't see any info on this/ I couldn't find an answer when I read page 1; posts 1 through 6.

Please advise.

Thank you.
You don’t need to boss!

spouse IELTS gives 20 points. I don't know how you are getting just two points. You might be missing something.
What could be wrong, I also get just a point increase when I include spouse

if you're familiar with Dragnet Qs, you don't need to stress yourself. Just be fast enough and start with verbal 20 Qs (easy & you can score high), then proceed to Quantitative 20 Qs (be fast here to solve as many as possible to save time for critical 10 Qs). Good luck.

Thank you so much my boss, God bless you.

Wow this is a nice and new development. I’ve gone through the website, it feels like Portugal is throwing this opportunity open, no stringent requirements. However, the amount of money to have (x3 of potential income) is not really clear to me

Any idea when Portugal will start accepting applications.

Hello everyone.

I am new on this thread and I want to humbly request inputs of sabi people.

I hold a BSc Economics (2,1) and Professional Masters Degree in Disaster Risk Management. (non-thesis option) (2,1). I do have student copy transcripts for both degrees.

I work with department of Corrections here in Nigeria and was recently appointed as a Restorative Justice Officer. I am finding my new task very interesting as it is result-oriented it involves helping people under incarceration via mediating for them which often result to their eventual release from the custody. I do this free of charge and I have worked on a number of cases successfully. So, I am considering a formal career along this path and the thought of enrolling for a Masters degree in RJ came. However, the university I searched, VUW does not offer Master's in RJ, it only offers PgCert in RJ and a PhD. I am still searching other Universities, anyway.

Another program I have always had in mind before now is a PhD in Disaster Management since I already have a Master degree in it.

Now my question is are these two fields of study sellable in New Zealand?
Which one would you advice for me suppose I am your brother?

Master's degree in Restorative Justice since I have job experience in it or a PhD in Disaster Management since I have Master's Degree?

Thanks.

Hello, I enjoyed reading your profile. I am a lawyer interested in a career in Correctional service. I run a program booksforinmates where I send books to Nigerian prisons.

Thank you.
