Cost of living is not bad at all compare to England and a lovely place to train kids. I have left Scotland because I got a job in England.

You will get a job but you can start with menial jobs to pay bills pending when you can get your career job.

Goodluck man,am in Glasgow. If you have the means you should plan to buy a house here, that's my ultimate goal in 2 years from now. Had friends from other African countries who are huge in real estate and so far they have shown me the tips/secret to acquire.
Regards to madam,I go com chop garri once I enta. Mak madam no fear, am coming wit enuff garri,soup ingredients, yam, plantain with full roasted goat meat including okporoko.I also com wit bread (25 pcs per trip)cos my son love agege bread scatter. That’s the plan. I will buy a house once madam starts working and I have also started my business in Aberdeen. Our income can give us a decent house to pay off over a period of time. We came here with lots of food stuffs. Out of 10 checkin bags, 8 na food stuffs.

We(family of 4) move here almost a year now. Though I still shuttle naija as my business is really up and running. Done 4 trips(to Scotland) so far within 11 months.

For family of 4, our POF was 21M plus 12k pounds but family of 5 will be more however we made sure we had excess due to forex fluctuation. Our application was October last year.
I think main applicant is 9k while other applicants are in the range of 6500k each.You can check gov.UK for further info

I tell u.missed out on it 7 years when I thought naija was it,had 5 visas and was doing naija my kontiri until it expired, dis tim no dulling o,took opportunity wit speed.
Moving ur family out of naija means you have resolved one immediate and future family headache however managing the family plus madam need(u sabi) is now about husband and wife values. Ensure you make one trip every 70-90 days if you have the means however the secret is buy early ticket,they are cheap I have late September ticket ready since July i also have late own ready. My business in naija still pay the bills but at least my family is safe and I have some level of peace about them

UK is dam expensive

I would say yes as long as you keep meeting their requirements. Very expensive especially having 3 kids, my wife n myself who will be visiting them up to 5 times in a year till I’m ready to live there permanently

She will continue to stay in the UK. I will join them in the UK before the end of 2023. I have to sell off business before I can relocate.

We are finally in Scotland where wife will study for her Masters. I Have a month to fully settle them in before coming back to Nigeria.
