freshStarz:Yes you can submit more documents after paying app fee, just login to your portal and upload documents, just make sure you submit your certificate, transcript, and English language result. All very important |
I'm finally rounding up with school this April and I can't wait for it to be done!!! My course is a year but it's accelerated to 8 months. Also, I'm not going to do another course to earn three years of PGWP 🤧 I'm going to get my PR before the 1 year PGWP I will receive runs out 😎. |
Princezibk:Thank you and I'm sorry for the late reply. Anything I claimed to have I provided evidence like business documents, bank statements, car papers, land receipt /building pictures, family pictures, kids' school reports, my school documents, employment letters with pay slips (both spouses), and PCC. |
B13578:No, I wasn't asked for IELTS, just my school certificate, and transcript, and I used WAEC results in place of IELTS. Although I’m not sure about now. |
Update on our housing: We got an agent “Jay” who helped us get a 2 bedroom condo apartment in downtown Toronto, a 15-minute walk to my school. We got the apartment on September 12th, and made 4 months' payments (1st month and last 3 months. 🤷🏻♀️) we moved on the 14th and our rent is due every 15th of each month (what we signed for) The rent includes all utilities (water, heat, internet, electricity, and hydro) except for insurance. ($3k) It’s a good location close to everything!!! |
Greetings to everyone! I'm delighted to offer my assistance to all. Allow me to share my journey: I submitted my application to Humber College in December 2022 and received admission in January 2023. By March, I had settled the first-term tuition fee. In April, along with my family (spouse with an Open Work Permit and two children with study permits), I applied for my study visa. I managed this entire process independently, without the involvement of an agent. This serves as a testament that you too can navigate it on your own, saving both money and unnecessary stress. We completed the upfront medical examinations, which were approved on April 21. Biometrics were requested on April 13 for myself and April 14 for my spouse. By April 22, we received a Biometric Verification Letter (BVL). On April 24, our visa document numbers were updated in the tracker, indicating the approval of our application. However, the OPR (Passport Request) was not received until June 15 In order to expedite the process, I initiated a series of scheduled emails to Nairobi, and finally secured our OPR on June 20. We promptly submitted our passports via courier and received them a week later. Our travel was booked for August 19 via British Airways with a layover at London Heathrow Airport for 8 hours, ultimately arriving at YYZ on Sunday, August 20, at 3 pm. Passing through the Port of Entry was straightforward. The immigration officers requested our marriage certificate, the children's letters of introduction, my letter of admission, proof of tuition payment, and the enrollment letter. Once verified, we obtained our permits and proceeded to our Airbnb accommodation. Currently, we are actively searching for an apartment, and I will keep you all updated on our progress. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or inquiries. |

livepluslife:If you don’t mind drop your education, age, work experience, IELTS, spouse details if any. Lemme check if you re eligible for EE |
posemeke:Just the PA is required to write IELTS. |
muyiroro:If you have a work permit, you can land and start your PR application. Also, you can do process both while still in Nigeria, so long as you are qualified for PR. Hope this helps. |

Kingsyze:Congrats on your ECA and IELTS. Search through the page you ll see sample cover letter then add this clause to it, If you deem my qualifications and experience suitable for your position, please note that you may be eligible to hire me under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). If you are facing labor shortages and having difficulties attracting or retaining talent, please consider the AIP and contact (the province) office of immigration for supports. Leave a link for Newfoundland and Labrador AIP page. Hope this helps, all the best. |
Pebo:No specific, just go through the list of designated employers for each province and search for who is hiring for your NOC |
Got back my old moniker hanna007, but I will alternate with the other account hannamia007 |
Trizadove:1. no age limit 2. yes, After you get a job offer from a designated employer, you need to get a settlement plan. A settlement plan will help you and your family adjust to your new home in Atlantic Canada. It will provide you with useful resources and contacts to help you feel welcome in your new community. These plans are free, Once you have your settlement plan, give a copy to your employer and keep a copy for yourself. If you’re not in Canada, bring the plan with you when you move to Canada. Get your Certificate of Endorsement After you have your settlement plan, the province must endorse your job offer. Your employer will handle this process. Don’t submit your permanent residence application until you confirm with the employer that your offer has been endorsed. If the province endorses your job offer, you’ll get a Certificate of Endorsement in the mail. Include your endorsement certificate with your permanent residence application along with other document needed for your PR application to ircc via paper route, like eca, pof, passports, ielts, medical, pcc etc including this endorsement certificate. |
Anywherebuthere:Yes it's difficult but not impossible, there 're people who have gotten job offers while in Nigeria. First is to have the list of designated employer and go through their site and check for jobs, then apply to the ones that fit you. We 'll all help each other go through this |
I will advise you have your ECA and ielts ready before you apply for jobs, so that once you have a job and its endorsed, nothing 'll keep you from applying to ircc. Inspite of all these, you can apply for a work permit once you get your endorsed job while ircc processes your application. I'm considering nova Scotia, my ECA is still in process. Let's contribute to this, how many of u 're interested in this program and how far have you gone? I will post list of designated employer for each province, note that most jobs are not advertised, you will have to go to their sites and check their career page. Also, when applying for jobs, always include a cover letter and state your intent in it I.e if they can sponsor you through AIPP. Apply for as many jobs as you can, but it should be in your field or what you do. |
This pilot helps employers in Atlantic Canada hire foreign skilled workers who want to immigrate to Atlantic Canada and also for international graduates who want to stay in Atlantic Canada after they graduate. This four province are New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward island . Firstly, job offer is required from any of this province, but the good thing is LMIA is not needed but the job will have to be endorsed by the province through your employer. However, employers will have to be registered under this program to be eligible. Which is called designated employer. This program has three scheme under it but 2 is for foreign skilled worker, while the other is for international graduates. Below is the schemes and requirements: 1. Atlantic high skilled program: this program requires a) have work in a management, professional or technical/skilled job for at least a year in the last 3 years (NOC O, A or B) b) have ECA c) ielts clb 4 or TEF clb 4 d) pof e) job offer must be full time at least 30hrs per week 2. Atlantic intermediate skilled program requires: a) must have worked in a job that requires high school education or/and job specific training for at least a year in the last 3 years. ( NOC level C) or NOC A & B in 3012 or 3233 with job offer in NOC C in 3413 or 4412. b) have ECA c) ielts clb 4 or tef clb 4 d) pof Although this program has its tough part (job offer), it also has it's benefits. Which I will list below: 1. IELTS band is low, clb 4 is required which is LRWS: 4.5, 3.5, 4.0, 4.0 2. POF is low; Family of 1 = $3167 Family of 2 = $3943 Family of 3 = $4847 Family of 4 = $5885 Family of 5 = $6675 Family of 6 = $7528 Family of 7 or more = $8381 3. You don't need to be in the pool or have crs, once your job offer has been endorsed and have register for a settlement program, gather all the necessary documents needed for ircc and submit through paper route. Moreso, you will pay for biometrics , rprf and application fee. |
https://www.nairaland.com/5273969/re-immigrate-canada-through-aipp This is the link for AIPP, I just created it I'm also considering going through this process. I have read through the scheme for over few months and know how it works. Those interested please follow the thread and let's make this Canada dream happen. |
This is a thread on Atlantic immigration pilot program. It's for those that have low crs and no more means of boosting it. With the current crs cut off, one has to look for other options. So as we go along I will explain how this program works. I'm also considering this program as I have low crs and pof PS: I'm not an immigration lawyer or agent, I have read through this scheme and know how it works. So please let's help ourselves through this process. Thanks |

I think when you re-read his post you will understand well, the agency he was referring to is PAGE ONE . Meaning he 'll find all the information there, medical, eca, passport etc. |
Daybour1:You can upload but not submit, only when everything is complete then you submit. |
ayaade1:I need it too |
Ytum:Once you get married, raise a CSE that you want to add your spouse to your application and attach your wedding certificate, pics, chats, wedding invitation etc. They will let you know what to do next. |
fizgurl:Why not contact CIC through CSE with your situation, maybe they can help or give you further information. |
BTGbenga:No difference, depends on one's preference |
