So sorry for this sir.
1st of all, if your sponsor have dependents (if your 6 siblings are of your sponsor's) the sponsor's 17mill might be flagged because he has other people to cater for. Maybe that's one of reasons you we refused..
Your gcms note might explain better if you can try to change your mind to address it...
Wish you the possible best
[quote author=Silverkc post=105799209]Good day everyone.
Yesterday I got a rejection Letter from IRCC.
Reasons are,
1. Financial Status and personal assets. 2. Family ties.
I was wondering if my application was actually reviewed. I don't understand how someone that submitted an application with 6 million in my account, 17 million in my sponsors account, my employment letter from my bank and confirmation letter with account statements.
I also submitted my wife's details plus my child. My wife, child , 6 siblings and parents birth certificates. My family won't be going with me. My application was a self application. My family is here in Nigeria, siblings and parents are also here in Nigeria. |

Sorry about that.
Just chill and go through your application as you await your gcms note. The note will give you the main reason because that was a generic reason which I also got then.
it hurts, no too think am oh but you will get over it.
Continue to check YouTube videos and here for updates on information.

Sorry about the refusal Did you get a sponsored letter from your uncle? Does your mom or uncle have a dependent? I think they may've just refused based on you mom's account. HorlarJP: How much in total should be enough in my mom main account or if I want to be a self sponsored how much should I get in my account for my proof of funds, thanks… and any more advice on how to package my application again. |

It's a lie oh. Inform the school of your refusal and tell the. You want to defer through the mail. Include your refusal letter. You can communicate with the school directly since you have gotten an admission. I got refused in may, i informed maples education (my agent) and school, I got deferred to jan 2022. Be safe. And i am sorry for your refusal. Yinkagbo: The institution is Lakeland college...I had btech in agric econs and extension here in Nigeria and I put in for agribusiness (post secondary diploma) My concern is this , I applied through agent and he told me yesterday that I will need to pay to deffer addimision |

I have paid like 9300 already. But now the money is more than when I was refused OCT202020: Flimsy conclusions like this really irritates me, walahi . Since the only concern is about funds, maybe paying your entire tuition fee will come to the rescue *if it's available and your insituton have a good refund policy*, and the living expenses sent to your account |

Not again oh. This is the first time I have more than enough funds and assets to show now. I am just curious if there is anything else I need to know. Thank you boss lawfree638: Again Champ, so sorry about this.
The best way is to get these funds available in your account.
If you are having a sponsor, it reasonable to note that the V.O will factor in "what and how the sponsor will cope after funding your education".
Address this and you are good to go. All the best. |

Okay sir. I have done. Hopefully I get it next week. Thank you sir Chukwuemekatehi: Its more than just assets. Order for your GCMS notes and know the exact concern of the VO. Also did you add your work history, payslip, personal account statement? All this can also amount to personal asset and financial status. |

No, I think I was refused due to document i didn't include, although waiting on my gsmc note. I was refused based on personal asset and financial status on may 31. My parents had only 8.5mill then but I didn't state my parents assets in the affidavit of support then. EmeeNaka: Police clearance certificate is valid for 3months only. So I think you will need another Police clearance certificate. Meanwhile, do you think, on your own, that anything or documents you presented could have led to your refusal? |

Yes it does. Thank you. How many months of bank statement did you do for your salary account? I stated I resigned my previous job from my initial application. So I just got a new job which after i submitted my application. will I need to include it in the new application form or not? All can be explained in the new LOE right? Kobayashi01: Hello,
Yes, I’m currently working. I got the job about one and a half months before my application. I included both my employment letter and my approval for study leave.
I dropped both my salary account statement and my domiciliary account statement (where most of my money was). I had just about 60k in my salary account at the time of applying.
Hope this helps. |

Congratulations on your ppr. Please can I ask you few questions? 1. You said job, are u working presently? If you do, did you include your employment letter in the submission? 2. Your account statements you dropped, was it the one you use to get salary from your job? Or just anyone? Kobayashi01: Good morning my people. Long post alert.
Firstly, I’ll like to thank Almighty God for coming through for me. I just got PPR.
Timeline Did upfront medicals: March 28 (IOM) Applied: April 7th Background check started immediately Biometrics updated: April 12th Medicals updated to passed: April 13th Eligibility review started: Around April 28 (I didn’t note this, it was until I discovered this thread I knew it was noteworthy) Orders GCMS notes: June 11 Emails and web forms to Lagos and Nairobi: June 16 Bvl and PPR: June 23 (7:50am)
First time applicant. I discovered this thread after I had applied and I immediately noticed some mistakes….. I didn’t submit my BSc transcript and I had lump sums moved to my dom account, although I briefly stated that the funds were transferred by my immediate family members in my LOE (this was verifiable from the statement’s inflow) and I also had almost zero outflow on the account.
I submitted personal MBS, papers statements of my sponsor and IELTS with my application so there was no NSE request. My brother is a Canadian PR and he is my sponsor. I had tuition for 1 year and flight money in my GTB Dom account and he had my 10k CAD living cost set aside in a savings account of his.
I’m 25 years old and my program starts in August. For home ties, I used a property that was gifted to me by my mum, my parents and my job.
When I saw that people who applied after me were getting PPR requests, I started to lose faith. My mum saw I was down, prayed with me and I felt enlightened again. I want to encourage you all to keep the hope high. God will do it. |

I submitted 8.5mil as bank statements and mistakingly didn't submit any asset of my parents then, even I already paid 9.5kCAD as deposit to school, and classes and test had started. we still got the same generic refusal. I don't think it is the money for you. but something must be flagging your application. cool down and know what it is, get ur gsmc note. Hopefully other can help explain better. naijaoyibo: Submitted gift of deed of about 10M Naira. and also funded the account of the applicant with the remaining tuition amounting to another 13M Naira. So funded the applicant's account with total of 23M Naira |
