Computers / My HP Mini Laptop Does Not Charge The Battery by happyFeminist(f): 12:17pm On Jan 07, 2018
My HP Mini battery does not charge. When plugged in, it shows laptop charging but battery remains 0% and when removed from the power connection, the Laptop goes off.

I went to Change the battery and the problem persisted. Thinking the new battery I bought was faulty, I went to change the purchased battery to a new one but the problem persisted.

I tried a different laptop charger and still the same old problem.

I took it to a repairer who said the motherboard might need to be changed.

Am confused. Who has experienced this before? It's a HP Mini 5103

Jobs/Vacancies / Hello I Would Like To Work For You,but Dunno How To Approach You. by happyFeminist(f): 4:01pm On Jul 21, 2015
People who receive unsolicited "I'd love to work for you, here's my portfolio" type emails. What gets your goat about them, what sparks your interest when you receive them? I've found a few companies I'd love to work for and I (think I) have a complementary skill / creative set. I just don't want to piss them off, be ignored due to blandness or come across as a total weirdo when I approach them to try and work for them. I'm really rubbish at this sort of thing, I don't really know how to go about approaching companies cold in the vain hope that they like what I do especially when I am less than complementary about my own skills. Do you have advice, success stories, list of dos and don't that can inspire my task?
