Originalsly: If one didn't believe Natasha they should after watching this. Where are the ones who be shouting democracy? Kangaroo Senate ... spineless senators
I just listened to this now. The Nays actually had it. Natasha wasn't supposed to be suspended afterall. This Akpabio man is a devil reincarnate.
ddippset: Basically this is an informal communication.. We are not doing history here on nairaland..
Only people from Cross River care about the jargons here you're calling knowledge...
And I used the term Calabar loosely as an adjective qualifying a person from Cross River,,, I couldn't care less about whether the 70 year old slave Ibas is from Calabar or any shrine in Cross River.
Just the way someone far from Rivers state would call someone from Eleme a Port Harcourt man or someone far away from Edo would call someone from Auchi a Benin man.
Leaving out my salient point about Ibas being a shameless slave boy to Wike and picking on his origin is akin to a person who ignores nice breasts on a woman's chest and begins sucking a tumor on her chest.
That's what you are right now.
You leave bobi dey suck tumor.
Enjoy your breast abi bobi. Some tumors are bigger than some breasts though. Another knowledge passed
Lifestone: There must be no place for jungle justice. Those who took law into their hands should be arrested
When a broom is used in killing a fly, which of the sticks should be held responsible. I detest jungle justice but a man that kills another in my very presence deserves what he gets.
ddippset: Do I look like I care whether it is Northern Cross River or Eastern Cross River or Underground Cross River?
Na normal Cross River man habit.
An accomplished 70 year old man wey suppose dey enjoy im retirement dey tell bed time stories to im grandchildren dey do boi boi work for Wike.
Don't hide your ignorance under the toga of stubbornness. We learn everyday and you can take this knowledge and move on. I have no intentions of engaging with you any further. I have impacted you and that is all that matters to me. Good day!!!
helinues: It's ego, that same over bloated egos made him to have issue with Wike
If you want to dine with the devil, make sure you have a long spoon
Dunno about Wike and Fubara but certainly the guy refused to be played like a chess and needed to leave the toga of godfatherism. I don't know how it would have panned out if Tinubu was not the man in the shadows
helinues: That's where Fubara messed up. I have advised him to try and work with the sole administrator so that his ongoing projects can be continue, his shady deals can be sealed while his allies interest would be protected, but he no gree listen
And you believe this is a realistic plan? Ibas is an agent of Wike/Tinubu. Sworn and known enemies don't dine on the same table
Fuckyoumod: if this story I read is true. Then justice was done, the law has spoken. The people must learn to bring justice, laws and order. 87% of Nigerians might not have faith in our criminal justice system.
While I detest jungle justice, this appeared well deserving. Action and reaction was equal and opposite. The killer could have gotten freedom or a lesser judgement by the courts. They can both continue their fight in the after life.
Otti needs to resign. His incompetence is killing people and seems his administration is solely focused on reducing the population of Abia State.
But at a time, Abians deserves every woe that befalls them. It’s like God specifically created them to vote incompetence.
That state has not had a governor in last two decades. Furniture’s they keep electing into the government house and they never learn.
What a sad day. May the deceased find peace with God.
We are not complaining. Why cry more than the bereaved. He may not be the best but he remains better than all we have had prior to now. Those before him were the real furniture.
Stayingalive: Christianity didn’t say you shouldn’t kill, it says you shouldn’t murder, and that is when you kill someone out of contempt not due to self defense or protecting someone else life. Its love thy neighbor as you love thyself. At worst, try to ensure you and your neighbors leave peacefully. If neighbors comes for your neck you can as well protect yourself by going for his neck first.
The law, thou shalt not kill was not qualified, was it? There was nothing to indicate that you may kill under exceptional circumstances.
So, on that chart about the fastest growing economies, we no even enter set self? Why then do I feel bad that Zimbabwe almost walloped our Super Eagles. When the Head is rotten....
Stayingalive: If we don’t kill them then we would go first. Life is short but our actions can make is shorter and more tragic
They may kill us first then repent and accept Christ and are forgiven, meanwhile we are dead, gone, lost and forgotten, lol (according to Christianity sha oo)
JASONjnr: Benue is going down.... the killing in the North Central is alarming.......
We pray for peace in this country.
I am human, I feel for them. However, when I remember Gowon, the Biafran war and the fact that Tivs were largely the foot soldiers used to kill more than 3million women and children in the Biafran enclave, I ask Madam Karma to do her work.
GistMedia0: A company driver was unknowingly filmed engaging in intimate activity with a call girl in a company vehicle, which was secretly equipped with a hidden camera. While the driver had no idea that he was being watched, back at the office, other workers were viewing the footage on a monitor, laughing and making fun of him as his private moment was broadcasted for their entertainment
The driver, thinking he was using the company vehicle for personal reasons to "relieve some stress," had no knowledge that the vehicle was fitted with a hidden camera. Meanwhile, in the office, employees—including the manager—gathered around the monitor to watch the intimate footage as it unfolded. The situation quickly became a source of ridicule, with workers laughing and mocking the driver as the video played, unaware that their actions would lead to public outrage.
Legal experts and members of the public are calling for the driver to sue the company for invasion of privacy, arguing that the driver’s intimate actions were recorded without consent. Many are also citing a clear breach of trust, as the company did not inform the driver that there were surveillance cameras in the vehicle.
Mynd44: I don't necessarily like Wike but the judgment even though it is temporal is wrong.
The freedom to associate and gather peacefullyis a human right, it is democratic and a judge making this statement is touting with people's rights
This here (emboldened), is the keyword. The judge is acting judicially and judiciously in trying to restrain a possible breakdown of law and order. If he gives this same order when the mayhem might have started, it will amount to a fait accompli
There was no sauce sir. The lifeless thing credited with that threat wasn't thinking about zooming, that has been preserved for the next election cycle
iampeterben: Is it a book, what is the title of the book?
It is actually a Geography textbook I used in my secondary school days decades ago. But hey, don't take me up on this, that is just me being jocular out here and nothing serious!!!Certificate Physical and Human Geography
Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com › Certificate-Physical-Human-... Certificate Physical and Human Geography is a natural companion book to know and learn from. Elementary details of most topics that comprise of physical and ...
Y'all should go and read Goh Cheng Leon and then come back let's argue
Na lawyer I be ooo, my own Ph.D don they vex me join. Not with the charade of what the judges are doing from the Supreme court right down to all the all courts below. They scammed us
They seems to have been consistently clear that the courts do not have jurisdictions over political parties affairs.
I don't know how we see this though... does it mean, few party Excos can wake-up one day and sack any of the party chairman
Where will such party chairman seek redress, if the Court is saying they don't have jurisdictions
What happens, if Aburo also decides not to leave the post...where will the LP take the matter to
E get as e be though
Sound reasoning. I have given this some thought too, not from the perspectives of partisanship but from a legal prism. How will a member of the party (any party at all) who believes that his rights within the party are being trampled seek recourse for justice? Methink that the erudite justices should rethink these decisions and if need be, reverse themselves. It seems to stand legal jurisprudence in its head. All I have ever known is Ubi jus Ibi remedium
