Now that it has been established that Fulani owns KWARA state and not the minority Yoruba tribe as said before.

If the Emir bring another ban or decide to make KWARA a full Sharia State.

Will the Yoruba Muslim women in KWARA dress like this to protest or I am not understanding

I recall when I first stumbled on these hooded women when i first got into Lagos more than 2 decades ago, It took all the courage in me not to run, plus the fact I noticed no other persons ran away from the two 'masqueraded women'.

Obi the religious politics master.
Obi the yes man.
Obi the political harlot (from APGA-PDP-LPAPC)
The black-garment-wearing man (Alaşo dudu)
The sissy (you could tell by his voice)
The opportunist.
The fake messiah of the youths.
The lying machine (e.g, “In Nigeria, there are SANs who never attended Law School”)

May God forgive you Obi for brainwashing this mummy, you've been exposed for the fraud you are.

How much una give her to spin this yarn? Don't regurgitate her claims , i read and understood her very well.

Every PEPT is unique, 2007 PEPT was close to annuling the elections because the electoral act of 2006 was infringed upon. The surferer couldn't just approbate and reprobate at the same time that was why it became a split decision in favour of Yaradua at the time.

The other PEPT in the fourth republic had not been contentious and weighty like that of 2007 except the 2023 PEPT. Expecting same results for different scenarios may bring your hopes to the lowest ebb.

There are different issues that can make or mar the respondents to the petition, this is their day to quash all those weighty issues raised including the constitutional issue that already had precedence set by the surpreme Court.

Do not be so sure, there was a time when we all were saying Gubernatorial elections can not be upturned but someone set the precedence and it has remained so to this day .

You never can tell the mind of a judge when issues come to timelight, let's eat our popcorn and see how it pans out in the coming weeks.

I love your attitude and disposition to the ongoing adjudication process, that is exactly how lawyers reason out matters that are in court.

SangoOlukosoOba:

All the lawyers at that tribunal are working together. They will prolong case for their benefit even when they all know the end.

That’s their tactics of milking clients, and why I use to say that, no lawyer will make heaven.

Lawyers don't bill based on duration of the matter in court. They also don't bill based on outcome of a case. They get paid irrespective, just saying.

occam:
No big deal. At times, as a defendant you don’t have to present any evidence or call witnesses.
It’s incumbent on Obi the petitioner to provide unimpeachable evidence that he won. Shikena

It might be a better strategy to let the case be decided only on evidence provided by petitioner. So far no smoking gun or evidence of massive rigging has been presented before the judges

Boss, the crap you wrote up there applies to criminal law not on a matter that is civil. Judgments in civil cases are made on a preponderance of evidence. So not providing any is fundamentally detrimental to your cause.

Don't know why it's difficult to control traffic and ensure hitch free vehicular movement during road construction.
Spending three hours in grid lock is due to senseless planning and uncoordinated activities
Alternative routes, diversion during hectic periods , timing of construction works to exclude hectic traffic hours would definitely resolve this problematic scenario.

I agree with you, planning is key. I left Abeokuta by 9am on that Sunday and drove through that stretch like breeze. Persons that came later are the ones with tales. Plan your movement.

Why the fvkc do you think electoral observers are invited to foreign elections? Even Nigeria attends other electoral processes as observers. Those nations are not sovereign? potato brains everywhere.

So it is the job of the Judges to start proving the evidences dump at the courtroom that there’s malpractices during the election? The petitioners didn’t proof their case instead they fill the court room with papers.

Good day Nairalanders. I Recently got this job, after several attempts of applying both online and offline. My monthly salary is average #75,000 per month, I used the word "Average" because its not static. Sometimes it could lower, as low as 60,000 and hardly surpass 90,000...so it's a commission work.

And we all know commission work is not reliable, you could be fired anytime. So please my question is, with the Nigeria standard of living, couple with the recent economic hardship, so now, the question is how much is ideal to save per month from this Salary.

To and fro from my work place is around 850 per day. We report to office 3  or 4 times in a week sometimes. I noticed that at tmes I even struggled to survive on 60k a month, minus miscellaneous oooo...chai e no easy (p.s. single and I stay alone)

Politics / Re: Atiku's Star Witness faults US Court Judgment On Tinubu's Forfeiture Of $460,000 by hardbody: 11:23am On Jun 24, 2023
seunmsg:
Atiku and Peter Obi have both closed their respective cases without proving how they won the election. So, the idea of the court declaring any of them the winner of the election is out of the equation.

The second part of their plea is to get Tinubu disqualified on three grounds. Shettima’s so called double nomination that has now been thrashed by the Supreme Court. 25% of FCT that the two parties seems to have abandoned as they didn’t push this argument seriously. Even if they’ve pushed it, section 299 already made it clear FCT should be treated like a state so it won’t even matter.

The third argument is to get him disqualified by a combination of certificate forgery, dual citizenship and drug conviction.

The certificate forgery is of two nature. Chicago state university and NYSC. As regards Chicago state university, the University already issued a public statement that Bola Tinubu graduated from the University. That alone is enough to settle the matter. All the gymnastic about the color or font of certificate is nonsense.

On NYSC, I would have expected Atiku’s legal team to subpoena NYSC to prove the authenticity of the certificate submitted by Tinubu but they failed to do that. So, how did they arrive at the conclusion that the certificate was forged? NYSC is the only authority that can confirm the authenticity or otherwise of an NYSC certificate.

On the drug conviction issue, it is as empty as the lawyer PDP brought to as witness to prove the case. The witness simply helped PDP to ruin a case that was faulty right from the start. There was no criminal conviction or indictment in the forfeiture. The communication from the US government to the IGP already cleared him of all allegation.

Overall, Atiku and Peter Obi simply wasted everyone’s time. They had no case of rigging so they had to throw in a lot of allegations hoping one will stick. Sadly, they proved none. The two cases will be dismissed with heavy cost to the petitioners.

So with this, do we need to wait for the SC to write a judgement? Nigerians ehnn....we dabble into everything including matters we no nothing about. The court has risen already without the defendants opening their case and the petitioners even exercising any rights of reply. Una weldone.
