The Coastal SuperHighway, the Power Upgrades, and institutional changes from Tinubu has been in the right direction, so we expect USA to empower opposition elements, opposition actors and opposition parties in order to derail the policy thrust of the Federal Government.

We know Tinubu rigged his way in, but he has been making the right decisions and is already positioning the country for greatness.

USA is now too gay, too divided, too unbecoming of a world power to be a guiding light in this world.

We will not lose ourselves. America never loved us, so there is no reason to believe they are working in our best interest.

America should fucck off.

Why is it very difficult to find a woman who possesses all the qualities listed below?

Or have you been fortunate as a Nigerian man to encounter such a woman?

Previous thread https://www.nairaland.com/8066592/why-it-difficult-get-these

Let us start with, who is searching for these women and what qualities is this person imbued with? Or just because you are a man then you have the right to determine who you want even if you cant tick half of that box

Lol. Have you ever heard of the central and northern Cross River? They are the highest cassava producers.

Oga read my posts well. Central is Akpet, they neither speak nor understand Efik, they are not calabar, they are cross river, northern cross river. Even the Efiks (Calabar) treat them as a different class. Calabar as a place ends around 8th mile. I told you before Northern Cross river feeds Calabar, Calabar as a people (Efiks) are lazy, proud and they love partying. They don't have farmlands. They don't even fish in their waters there at Marina

Calabar is one of the highest producers of Cassava

Where is their farmland? From Calabar south to Marina, across 11/11 through to 8th Mile. Where else is Calabar?

Calabar that has alot of farms 🚜 is also selling a cup of garium sulphite @250 per cup, we are our own enemy, honestly...

I served in Akwa ibom 11years ago, and my landlord and the wife gave my second corper mate to go and harvest a whole farm and divided the casava we harvested into 2 and we gave then half and we took the remaining half, we did garium and even took alot of bags home self..

You people that have a lot of farms, you are still doing yourself lf, it's lagos now, I can concur, because they have used almost their empty land to build house

Calabar no get farm. You must be confusing Calabar with the northern cross river state. The average calabar man/woman is typically lazy and proud with shakara all over them. Beyond acquiring my first degree from there, my mom is also from there so I know them inside out.

It has never been this bad before. Garri now N250 a cup?

Is this not a direct attempt to achieve mass death?

How much is it in your area?

You all should stop being lazy and proud. I have my maternal roots from there. You guys should till the soil and farm and stop relying on foodstuff coming from Northern Cross river state. My mom's people? Lazy AF.

christopher123:
In a groundbreaking achievement, Justin Chukwudi Olewuezi has etched his name in the annals of Nigerian academic history by becoming the first Nigerian to graduate as a Doctor from a Russian University.

Olewuezi, a standout student from the Siberia State Medical University in Tomsk, Russia, has not only achieved this historic milestone but has also secured the title of the best graduating student in the Department of Medicine. His stellar academic performance is evidenced by an exceptional Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.00 out of 5.00.

His academic journey began at Tomsk Polytechnic University, where he immersed himself in the study of the Russian language alongside various scientific subjects. Subsequently, he transitioned to the Siberian State Medical University in Tomsk to pursue his medical education.

Dr. Olewuezi’s achievement is further underscored by the fact that he attained the highest possible grade point average in the university’s 135-year history. His remarkable feat not only brings honor to himself but also shines a spotlight on the potential and brilliance of Nigerian students on the global stage.

As Nigerians celebrate this extraordinary accomplishment, Olewuezi’s achievement serves as a testament to the power of determination, hard work, and dedication in pursuing academic excellence.

Crime / Re: What It Means When The Court Grants Bail In The Sum Of N20m Or Any Other Amount by hardbody: 10:01am On Apr 19
Kelklein:

You are confusing surety in like sum with bail money..

Bail could be in three forms: Monetary,
just Surety in like sum; or Both

This is why most stringent bail conditions are difficult to meet esp the both.

Boss abeg which one is Bail money again? The conditions are stringent when the surety cannot show proof of ability to meet with the conditions, eg, N100m (Do you have that in any bank account), Land in Abuja (Do you have that)? Civil servant of Grade Level 14 and above (Is such a person available and willing to stand surety)

There is nothing called and known as Bail money. While Police may seek a greasing of the palm, that money is not legit which is why they boldly inscribe, BAIL IS FREE in all their stations.

POP, please i need more clarification on this...

I want to know if the surety is going to pay the money into the court's account or maybe , court only has to confirmed that the money is in the sureties account before the bail will be granted.

The court will verify that you have that money somewhere. If it is property, the baillifs will physically visit the property and confirm ownership through neighbourhood search. You do not need to tender documents and have them retained in the court's repository

Wrong.. the money is deposited with Court registrar or clerk as the case may be..

It's not after the person defaulted.

At the end of the trial the money is returned as long as the bailed person did not jump the bail.

Nobody deposits a dime. Stop arguing what you know nothing about

What about Police granting someone bail at their stations? Cos not all case get to the court ...

The same principle applies even when it is administrative bail, but you will bring small something for the pen and papers used in writing statement , etc

Let me add my voice

Granting someone bail at any amount simply means that the person who will stand as surety to the accused must be ready to pay that amount when the accused runs away before the conclusion of the case, meaning the surety is not even paying any money before the release of the accused...even cubana doesn't know the meaning of bail, hence he wouldn't have posted that "money na water "...no one paid any money...it is simply a condition should the accused runs away

Some of you won't talk now. It's okay by you but when it has to do with a pastor and a church you will see it as been awkward. This is absolutely nonsense. Some people were busy saying give Caeser what belongs to Caesar. Did Jesus made that statement for such matters of making sacrifices to idols or whatever spirit in the water. All powers are subjected to the Church, the body of Christ ( Our Lord Jesus Christ). Carelessness killed them, lack of safety awareness and precautions killed them. If they wore safety wears they would all be alive. Traditions have lied to us in the past but if not because of science we would have thought that some death were cost be the gods of the land not knowing that they were exposed to killer things.

Is it ok to ask you to shut up? This is human death and bereavement we are discussing here
