1. Before Social Media, the priority of most Nigerians was to watch useless content such as nollywood movies. The average Nigerian will not sit and watch educational Documentaries. You have channels like discovery Channel, national Geography etc. but most Nigerians are watching Telemundo or African magic.

2. Algorithm of social media platforms are designed to continually feed you with content you already like. The aim is to ensure you keep watching. So if you like watching people like peller, all you will get is similar content.


3. Nigeria does not even have top level tech influencers because most Nigerians will not even watch them.

3. The US has Marques Bronlee, the UK has MrWhoIsTheBoss. Every time they post tech videos they get millions of views. But in Nigeria people want to watch Skits. They are not interested in learning.


People like David Hundeyin are well known to blame white people for everything bad in Nigeria.
