such thing cant happen on treasury bill sometime self you go know your gain before the expire of such bill . let say the treasury bill is for 90 days or 180days depends, it wil be stated along with the quoting that on any amount you invested your return will be let say 9% , so if you invested 10 million naira for 180 days treasury bill on 9% interest that means the government will pay you 10.9 million naira at the end of 180 days tenure. thats is very secure if you cant do it yourself you can go to your bank and ask for Mutual Funds account but first make your research on any bank you want to do that with

It means if I spend like 1billion naira in getting a certain shares from a particular company and you too buy from such company with just 1 million naira ... of after a month the price of the shares rise with let say 1% me with the 1billion investment can decide to sell off my shares because that increment is enough for me there by affect your own 1million you invested because once my 1billion is out of the company they will struggle to pay you and sometime you might not even get your capital back

To me ooh, Government treasury bills or bonds are better for investment compare to buying shares... have seen some people who invested like 5million naira on shares since 2005 and buy now he has nothing because most of the big man who invested billions of naira on the same shares quickly dump it once the see a significant increment in the price there by liquidate the low income investors, that is when the company will be coming with the negative balance for the year and as negative keep coming you can't get your dividend and your share price will be reducing... but on treasury bills or bonds I can say specifically there is one that will even tells you how much you will earn when you buy certain amount of it ... like they will tell you if you invest 10million naira they will let you know that after the tenure of such bill you will receive let say 11million that means they pay u 10% of your investment

Not good enough...if u see the way Herbert of blessed memory and Tony and his wife buys shares you will realise they buy in billions which is on the High side, but I advise you start from hundreds of thousand of shares to millions of shares. Cos most nigerian companies dividend are in kobos/shares so you need a lot of shares to get something tangible. With the level of inflation it might be worth less for now but when n9geria starts working it will be worth a fortune...
