All these politicians should go and sit down just imagine the arrogant manner the man is talking. It is a well known fact that our politicians are only after their personal interest so the president coming from your state does not mean automatic development, katsina has produce two civilian president and the state is not better than any other average Nigeria state. Old man that should be thinking of how to empower the teeming unemployed youths in his locality is busy spewing trash. |
Typical damage control, what makes the petroleum minister ignore the memo from his minister of state. If not that the memo was leaked it would have been business as usual. Nonsense APC government. |
Nothing will come out of this meeting, Buhari will in his usual manner set up a committee to investigate the allegation bearing in mind that Nigerians will soon forget. They will then activate their propaganda machinery to distract Nigerians. Buhari is a colossal failure |
It did not start today, buhari can never change: Between 1983 and 1985, Peter Onu of Nigeria was Acting Secretary-General of the OAU. At the 1985 Summit in Addis Ababa, statesmen like Julius Nyerere, President of Tanzania, lobbied for his election as substantive Secretary-General. However, there was a major stumbling block to Peter Onu’s candidature: his Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, was campaigning against him. Buhari claimed: “This generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country than Nigeria.” But when the crunch came, his allegiance to Nigeria disappeared. In the election of the OAU Secretary-General in 1985, Buhari preferred a man from Niger instead of Nigeria. He secured the election of Ide Oumarou, a Fulani man from Niger; as opposed to an Igbo man from Nigeria. By so doing, Buhari became the first and only Head of State in the history of modern international relations to vote against his country in favour of his tribe... - Reference: The OAU: Reality Or Fiction by Ibrahim Daggash, former Head of Information and Communication, Organization of African Unity (OAU); pg 69; ISBN 1-9044722-25-3._ |

There is what you get when you sacrifice merit on the basis of quota system. Incompetence everywhere! |
How can you sacrifice merit in the name of quota system and expect development, quota system breed mediocrity and unnecessary sense of entitlement. Very good and laudable judgment. |
This country must be restructure for things to work, our level of patriotism is very low. With restructuring we will localized our problems and cry of marginalization will reduce, we can start with the six geopolitical zones as federating units with 100 percent resource control. The time to restructure Nigeria is now before things gets out of hand. |

Police should stop bringing every piece of information to the general public, this guy has a very large network of criminals. They should intensify efforts to have them rounded up instead of celebrating as if they suddenly discover cure for mortality. |

120km/hr is not over speeding, on a normal road I don't do less than 140km/hr and I don't feel like I'm on top speed. If u can't control a vehicle comfortable at 120km/hr then your driving license should be revoked. |

Martin Evans Victoria Ward 23 MAY 2017 • 5:17PM The suicide bomber who killed 22 people and injured dozens more at the Manchester Arena has been named as 22-year-old Salman Abedi, according to US officials. Born in Manchester in 1994, the second youngest of four children his parents were Libyan refugees who came to the UK to escape the Gaddafi regime. His parents were both born in Libya but appear to have emigrated to London before moving to the Fallowfield area of south Manchester where they have lived for at least ten years. They had three sons in total and a daughter, who is now 18-years-old. Abedi grew up in the Whalley Range area, just yards from the local girl's high school, which hit the headlines in 2015 when twins and grade A pupils, Zahra and Salma Halane, who were both aspiring medical students, left their homes and moved to Isil controlled Syria. There were unconfirmed reports in Manchester that the whole family apart from the two elder sons recently returned to Libya.
