Quack vets are everywhere in Nigeria. They have caused the death of countless dogs. Next time, try to have a professional who actually studied vet medicine to do any vaccinations or treatments on your dogs. Sorry for your loss though

Splinters only occur if the bones are swallowed the wrong way Sir. Plus, you said he shouldn’t feed bones in general. An internal splinter can only take place when the bone is swallowed whole or wrongly. That’s still not enough reason to tell someone to stop feeding bones to his dog. Vets still recommend that feeding eggs fresh to dogs can result to salmonella, but then, feeding eggs raw to dogs is the best form of feeding eggs to them.

Really nice dog you’ve got OP, close to black, but not pure black. Really beautiful coat colour though. Really solid pup. You can feed your dogs bones, but just make sure it doesn’t swallow whole and it does chew properly. Bones are really good sources of calcium, and the marrow is also very nutritious. Just be careful it doesn’t swallow without chewing, that’s when the bones can be harmful.
