A break up is a very terrible thing to go through, especially if you really loved him. Also, people handle emotional issues differently. I understand these two things but doing any of the following 6 things is just a slight on your personality. 1. Fight/ create scenes It is normal that an emotion that quickly bubbles to the surface after breaking up is anger but don’t let that push you into exchanging words with him or trying to hurt him physically. 2. Cuss him out publicly You may feel so betrayed that letting everyone else know how much of a douchebag he is seems right. Even if he treated you badly, you shouldn’t go on social media and cuss him out or organize a ‘thrash him’ party with your friends. That’s immature. 3. Look for a rebound guy First of all, using someone else to get over your ex is unfair. Secondly, it does nothing for you emotionally, don’t trust what people say. 4. Mope around It is difficult to just pick up the pieces of your life and move but the sooner you understand that this is what you have to do, the better. Moping around makes you stagnant while your ex has moved on; don’t give him that satisfaction. 5. Beg him He does not want you anymore but you could still walk out of his life with your head held up high. The last thing you should do is try to hold on. 6. Act like it doesn’t hurt Of course, I said earlier that you should not mope around but it is best that you own up to the pain you are feeling. Tell a trusted friend about how you hurt for the sake of therapy. The more you talk about it, the more you will feel better. What is most important is that you leave with your dignity intact. http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/top-6-terrible-things-not-to-do-after.html?m=1

Arsenal have increased their offer for Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, to £50.9million. The Gunners are also willing to include Olivier Giroud as part of the deal. All parties want the respective moves, including Giroud to Dortmund, but must still agree the final fees. Arsenal have already had a £43million bid rejected by the Bundesliga side, but have now returned with an offer much closer to Dortmund’s valuation of £53m. The Premier League club remains confident of sealing a deal by the end of this week. Giroud has fallen down the pecking order under Arsene Wenger and is keen to seal a move this month, in order to improve his chances of playing at the World Cup later this year. http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/giroud-to-be-included-in-aubameyang.html?m=1

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is keen on signing midfielder Mesut Ozil from Arsenal. The Germany international is yet to sign a contract extension at the Emirate Stadium and could be available on a free transfer this summer. Arsene Wenger has ruled out the prospect of Ozil leaving Arsenal in the January transfer window and the club are reportedly confident that the German will agree to sign a new deal. But an insider at Old Trafford told The Independent, UK that United will make life difficult for the Gunners as they remain keen on signing Ozil as a free agent at the end of the season The report also claims that the 29-year-old is demanding a salary in the region of £300,000 a week. United have already clinched the signing of Alexis Sanchez from the club who was officially unveiled on Monday evening as part of the deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to Arsenal. There have been questions about how Mkhitaryan and Ozil will fit in the same team but Wenger is confident that the duo can make it work. He told reporters, “They [Ozil and Mkhitaryan] can play together,’ said the Arsenal manager ‘How efficient will that work? It will be down to the qualities of both players. ‘ “Mkhitaryan has the qualities to integrate into our game. “He has a good team attitude. He’s very versatile. He can play in all kinds of positions. ‘He is very versatile and it should help us going forward. “Henrikh can bring quality of creativity, technical stability and experience.” http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/mesut-ozil-keen-on-signing-for.html?m=1

On Tuesday N655.17 billion was shared to the three tiers of government as revenue for January by the Federation Account Allocation Committee. Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, told newsmen in Abuja that the money was distributed under four distributable sub-heads. Adeosun said: “The total statutory revenue for the month is N540.44 billion.“It was made up as follows: Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation contributed N104.3 billion; DPR, N77.61 billion; Federal Inland Revenue Service collection from the oil sector is N88.37 billion; and N116.9 billion from the non-oil sector. “We also generated N51.98 billion from the Nigerian Customs Service.“There was also a refund of some excess bank charges to the tune of N1.93 billion. “There was a deduction of seven per cent cost of collection to the customs, four per cent to the FIRS and another four per cent to DPR. “There was also a provision for FIRS tax refund of N2 billion and another refund by Customs to the tune of N8 billion.“So the distributable revenue for the month is N655.17 billion, which includes VAT of N83.96 billion and N30.76 billion from the Forex Equalisation Account. ”Adeosun said oil revenue continued to be impacted negatively due to the continued sabotage of oil pipelines in the Niger-Delta region and the declaration of Force Majeure at Bonny Terminal. She said: “The decrease in crude oil exports sales by 0.59 million barrels resulted in decreased revenue from export sales of 11.65 million dollars.“ However, the average price of crude oil increased from $52.07 to $56.83 per barrel during the period under review. “There were also marginal increases in revenues from Petroleum Profit Tax and VAT, while Import Duty and Oil Royalty recorded decreases.”Adeosun said the Federal Government received N252.5 billion; States, N150.1 billion; and the local governments, N98.7 billion. She also said N47.7 billion was shared among the oil producing states, representing 13 per cent of the oil revenue generated in the month of December. http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/federal-states-and-local-government.html?m=1

Former President, Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to honourably resign his office, go home and rest. Obasanjo asked the President to disregard advice from his advisers who may not be wishing him well and “dismount the horse.” The former President said this in a long statement he personally signed and sent to the President on Tuesday, where he noted that its not compulsory that Buhari listens to his advice. Obasanjo said, “President Buhari’s illness called for the sympathy, understanding, prayer and patience from every sane Nigerian. It is part of our culture. Most Nigerians prayed for him while he was away, sick in London for over hundred days and he gave his Deputy sufficient leeway to carry on in his absence. “We all thanked God for President Buhari for coming back reasonably hale and hearty and progressing well in his recovery. “But whatever may be the state of President Buhari’s health today, he should neither over-push his luck nor over-tax the patience and tolerance of Nigerians for him, no matter what his self-serving, so-called advisers, who would claim that they love him more than God loves him and that without him, there would be no Nigeria say. “President Buhari needs a dignified and honourable dismount from the horse. He needs to have time to reflect, refurbish physically and recoup and after appropriate rest, once again, join the stock of Nigerian leaders whose experience, influence, wisdom and outreach can be deployed on the side line for the good of the country. “His place in history is already assured. Without impaired health and strain of age, running the affairs of Nigeria is a 25/7 affair, not 24/7. “I only appeal to brother Buhari to consider a deserved rest at this point in time and at this age. I continue to wish him robust health to enjoy his retirement from active public service. President Buhari does not necessarily need to heed my advice. But whether or not he heeds it, Nigeria needs to move on and move forward.” http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/go-home-and-rest-obasanjo-to-buhari.html?m=1

The legendary actor, also fittingly known as ‘The Voice of God,’ has received a well-deserved honor at the SAG Awards! Morgan Freeman took the prestigious Life Achievement Award! What made it even more notable was the fact that Rita Moreno, to whom he presented the same honor five years ago, was the one to announce his award this time around. The two are even great friends, and this became very apparent through Freeman’s acceptance speech. ‘You have no idea how long I’ve had to put up with that,’ the 80-year-old actor told the audience jokingly after Moreno made fun of the hat he was wearing. ‘These moments in one’s life call for an entire litany of thank yous usually. I cannot do that because I do not know all of your names, so I will not try. I do have to thank SAG-AFTRA for this big honor.’ He then went on to mention his business partner, family, and Rita, his other half. ‘This is beyond an honor. It’s a place in history.’ He even mentioned the Time’s Up movement by pointing out that his statue, ‘works from the back. From the front, it is gender specific. Maybe I started something.’ As fans may remember, this is not the first SAG Award the man won. Back in 2005, he got one for his role in Million Dollar Baby. He and the rest of the cast were also nominated that same year. Later on, in 2010 he received the same honor for the film Invictus and before those two instances, in 1995 for The Shawshank Redemption. During his successful acting career, that interestingly enough started when he was already 50, he was also awarded two Golden Globes and one Oscar. http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/morgan-freeman-receives-life.html?m=1

Member representing Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency of Gombe State, Hon. Aishatu Jibril Dukku has thrown her weight behind herdsmen, saying their cows are very important to them. Dukku during plenary on herdsmen attacks, said Fulani herdsmen value lives of their cows more than their own lives. Aisha told the house that too much consumption of maggi has made Nigerians so impatient to their problems. She advised government authorities to proffer a workable solution in favour of the herdsmen. “You can’t sit down and make conclusions on herdsmen. Yes, they values life of their cows more than even their own lives because that is how God has created them. “Nigerians have become so edgy these days, maybe because of the food we eat, maybe because we eat too much of maggi. “We have become so impatient that’s why we don’t listen to each other. “We don’t want to proffer solution that will be workable to our country.” http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/lives-of-cows-are-more-important-than.html?m=1

A social media user who resides in the federal capital territory, has shared some shocking photos while narrating how Abuja residents prevented a man from committing suicide in public. The man attempting to commit suicide Here's how an Abuja-based Facebook user, Ejike Sunday Ugwu, who posted the photos online narrated the story; Quote "What I saw at Nicon junction in the Maitana axis of Abuja this Monday morning went a long way to remind me that here ( Nigeria) is nothing but a drama theatre. On my way to work today, we drove to Nicon junction, we met a young man seated on an advert galary above the ground with rope tied round his neck, a poster of a presidential aspirant stick on his cloth and 2019 boldly inscribed on his white agbada (native wear). He wore a white shoes to match and a pair of eye glasses. People gathered, include force men since it's a traffic moment, almost all stopped over to understand what was happening. The young man through the help of some Nigerians was untied and helped to climb down from the galary! According to popular opinion, He planned to commit suicide as a show of support to the Presidential aspirant! Now, my questions are: 1) Where on this earth is threat to commit suicide a way of projecting opinion? 2) What has a presidential aspirant and 2019 to do with a young man attempting to take his own life? 3) When will Nigerian youths realize that these elderly really do not have our future in their agenda? 4) Those that trecked from Lagos to Abuja in 2015, can they still treck from Amac to Gwagalada for the same reason today? 5) Is this how we(the youths) will form leaders of tomorrow? These and many other questions are demanding answers to. And as we are few months away from another decisive moment (general election), we can only do ourselves a favour by tactfully discharging our civic right of voting with your future in mind and not pocket for immediate gratification! God bless Nigeria." (sic) http://www.nancygist.com/2018/01/a-man-attempts-to-commit-suicide-as.html?m=1
