IbeOkehie:
Using an exchange rate of ₦1650/$, USA petrol price in the commodity exchanges right now is ₦805 per liter.

So NNPC is making a profit on petrol sales from today. As it should be. It's likely there will be no difference when NNPC buys in naira. In fact it may turn out worse if Government prints new naira to buy petrol from Dangote Refinery.

We welcome Nigerians to the reality of paying full price for petrol.

No matter what, living in Nigeria is still better than living in the UK.

Good Luck to Nigerians.
Excuse me, isn't it supposed to be ₦1650+/L?

You don't have to roll on the floor and clown yourself to prove loyalty.
Sheila dodged a bullet her kids would have been mocked at school their father rolling on the floor.
Her only crime was guy invest and have something of your own...
If Davido is no longer in the picture what does life hold for Israel.
Davido sef no send all that one, he go still bless Israel without the clowning. What's the correlation with being logistics manager and rolling on the floor?

That is how you channel your effort in the wrong direction. A complete set of unintelligent people, with only tactic of 'name calling'. Very predictable. They can't hold an intelligent conversation by any means before quickly oozing their foolery. Very stale lot. If they're not calling you poor then they're accusing you of hate or blatantly wishing you bad for not supporting their fraud god, Obi. You'll explore the 93 billion light years of the universe and never find a group as devoid of intelligence as this lot.

When the plebs among them make vile and horrid remarks on us and we stay mute because we're not given to bathos and trivialities, the elite among them fail to call their kins to order, but laugh behind keyboard altogether. Occasionally though, when we decide to give them a fraction of their own currency, the nutters quickly escape their cave, fuming in their purulent mouths, and start throwing stones, in miserable manners, against bullets. Such obtuse lot.

Spits.

Damn. It's important Lagos is standing up to noise pollution to a reasonable degree in respect to other states.

From Churches to Mosques to Bars and others, we need to keep this country sane. We can't admire the Whites for sanity and shy from what things make them so sane

No, sire. You don't understand. Nigerian universities are extremely underfunded that you begin to wonder how these even manage to be there in the first place. Also, if you ever happen to participate or understand how quality scientific experiment and researches are conducted and expensive, then you'll know these people try with these feat. And given UI and ABU are some of those that get the most funds from FG, then it's not a fallacy to expect others doing well too if they get equally funded.

That said, despite UI and ABU being of the most funded, Nigerian universities are still poorly funded. You'll be riding high on horses expecting plenty quality researches.

The list is inexhaustible, and I could go on and on. Don't be so quick to point your finger next time.If I hail those of my people for their positive exploits, from music, education, to science, then you keep shut and keep your stinking vile envy to yourself. Whether if your people work as hard and don't go about polluting our images as a country, we'll be better for it and not this earmarked for bad PR.
But because 3 of those four were from your tribe, it's something to celebrate?

So, you don't mind being in a shithole, as long as you're king of the sewers...
Well, I mind living in the SE, but I still feel safe and comfortable here where I am.

And what stops your people from contributing 3 people or even more likewise? Or have they been cursed with absenteeism in most positive things? Or SE doesn't have quality universities?

Next time you keep shut and don't attempt to water down the effort of others. You create your own success through effort too and stick it up their face, that's how to express envy and hatred.

Meanwhile, kudos to these lecturers. I'm quite happy and unastonished it's the Yorubas holding the light for others in Nigeria once again. I would say more of this be reciprocated among other Nigerian public schools than UI, but when considering how much others get in respect to UI, I'll keep mute. Unilorin for instance isn't even in the top 10 schools getting good allocation, yet it manages to contribute its quota – just as a professor, Prof Funke Dare, recently discovered another drug for leukaemic cancer, Iloneoside, there. Enough funding will get other universities to sprawl up and contribute better in Nigeria.
