Hi, I'm currently working on completing my study permit application. I completed IELTS & upfront medical and i would like my application to go through the NSE route. Should i submit my regular application and wait for them to request for the medical result, my bank statement and IELTS result for the NSE route or is it okay to upload everything upfront? Please advice. |
Hi All, I recently got admitted into Humber college for fall 2021 session. I’m currently gathering my documents for visa application and I plan to submit by early February but I was wondering/considering if paying the tuition now (9000+ CAD) and include the tuition payment receipt in my visa application would put me in a good chance of getting my visa approved. Does paying tuition in full before submitting visa application visa have any additional benefit? Please advice. Thanks |

zeezahbee:Hey, thank you for your response..What about if USCIS gives her a response by January and probably grant her change of status but decides to sit for SAT in January and go back to Nigeria to apply for degree program and enter as a freshman in summer..Is that going to affect her application when she decides to apply for F-1 visa in Nigeria with new I-20 from a four years program school? |
Hello everyone, I humbly request y'all to suggest the best way to go about this situation. My sister came to US with a visiting visa over the summer and while she was here, she applied to a community college with her visiting visa and she was offered admission for spring semester but it was stated on her I-20 that her status has to be changed(to F-1). She proceeded by applying for change of her status but haven't been notified about the decision yet for over three weeks and her school resumes in less than three weeks. While she awaits the decision, we contemplated and decided it's best for her to write SAT instead of spending two years in community college and then go through the stress of transferring to a four years program. So, she has been preparing for SAT and she's going to take the exam next year January and apply for four years program for summer or fall session. Now, my question is...Is it possible for her to ignore the community college offer and not attend the school in January even though she applied for her change of status using the school? Her visiting visa expires in January and I'm suggesting it's best for her to write the SAT exam here and then go back to Nigeria in January and then apply for degree program using her SAT result and other documents and then apply for F-1 visa from Nigeria and come back in summer or fall to start the degree program. Or incase the immigration changes her status from visiting to student, can she still stay in the US and apply for degree program for summer/fall while she ditches the community college that gave her admission and used to change her status. I am more particular about her status in the country because i wouldn't want her to be an illegal immigrant and mess up her chances. House please suggest which way to go about this. thank you Note: she doesnt want to go to the community college and i think it's also a waste of time for her and resources when she can enter for a four years degree program. |
Mystiqme: Getting an apartment in New York is crazy. If I may ask, how are you searching?Have been trying to use an agent but their charges are quite outrageous.. Someone told me about Craigslist, i checked and called few landlords but they were asking for proof of income, credit check and the likes..Tried to explain to them that I'm just a grad student that works in school but i guess they weren't willing to take the chances because of their monthly mortgage payment. I'm convinced it shouldn't be this difficult in other states. |
decreamaster: Yea! SupI'm ok! are you in NY or about coming? anyway, trynna get a new apt and my effort has been futile so far..Dunno if there's someone who knows how i can go about the whole apt process or probably wants to share apt because these agents are rip off. |
Hey, anyone in New York or coming towards NY for studies this summer? |
