Good evening Nairalanders
I humbly request for your assistance in building my skills.
I am a growing digital/video content creator. I make comedy skits, birthday shoutouts, Voice-over adverts, jingles, business adverts, mobile graphics, etc.

I used to have a good Samsung phone with which I started making all these. And while I'm studying in school now, it served as a side income for me. But my phone got spoilt. I was no longer able to do all these. I've got only a dad who tries to at least pay for my schooling. I tried doing menial work with schooling but it was hard, I couldn't concentrate on both.

I therefore request for your assistance. If you have a good phone to spare, please help me out. So while I'm still in school, I can still be able to make some things for myself. After school, I'll work to get bigger tools.

Check Gionee K3 on jumia, it has the spec you are looking for but the processor isn't that good.

Plus, i don't trust the durability of their phones again since they went bankruptcy

If you are really looking for a phone with good processor you must add some money to your budget, get xiaomi redmi note 8 (you must handle with care cos parts ain't available in Nigeria), a used Samsung phone or an iPhone

My little advice..
Your budget is very low for a phone with great specs, hence you need to up your game and add atleast 10K. Go for "used" xiaomi device at a your own peril, your eye go clear after getting it.
With such budget, tecno spark 4 or umidigi a7 pro is the best deal.. Even 40K can't get those phones i mentioned you still need to add atleast 5k to your budget. Some of these transsion phones isn't as bad as they portray it here. Btw, beware of scammers if you are to trade on Nairaland!

I'll look for more money. Any good 4/64 is okay.

I would have loved the tecno pouvoir 4 pro if only it had a bit higher processor. It has good specs as well.

Actually I met with someone yesterday who had a spark 4 up for sale.. Truly the phone looked good but wasn't enough for me.

In details, what I do is comedy skits, so I shoot videos with my phone and edit also with kinemaster pro. Then am a gamer too (maybe not heavy though) But I must say, am not an average user. Phone must have enough ram, new version, storage, good processor and nice cameras too.

Though am not really a novice about phones, believe me I've made tons of researches, but like I said, I prefer usage experience to just online researches. And thus! that led me here (realizing nairaland has a lot of people with tech knowledge)

For now I have a budget of 40k but then, am not really in a haste. I could raise my budget if need be but I just want to have beforehand, a clear grasp of what am aiming to purchase.

NB : I've only used tecno y4 and currently using infinix hot 5 in my history of personal smartphones (sounds funny? but that's the truth people) Though I've laid my hand on other devices but it wouldn't count like a personal one you know.

So I'll leave it to y'all to unanimously help a bro out.

So in the long run, I've made my researches so well and one thing I've come to realise is that there are great phones out there, but one would actually have a quite heavy pocket to be the one to unveil the mask.
The only alternative is getting these phones second handed, pretty much better than getting a new one with lower specs.
Think I'd have to amass some sum more and patiently wait if I'd see an affordable offer.

Haha I'm a real dumbass when it comes to sports betting.. Besides seem to be unlucky with it also. I've had numerous fails with reasonable stakes. Guess sports betting is just my undoing �

Okay thanks. Pitiably that's all I can afford. I think I'd have to drop the thought of getting good a brand new one then and resolve into getting a used one.
Speaking of which, what mobile brand/model do you recommend (with the specs you gave)

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could get any suggestions on me getting a new phone with a budget of 40k. If possibly there could be any with atleast 3gb ram, 32gb rom, Android 9 pie and good camera as well.

Am actually sort of a neophyte here, don't really know how the platform works but if you see this, please your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
