I think NL needs an escrow service. A standard escrow backed by some serious institutions. Every day I log in to see one scam or another. Too many scams happening that it is scary to do any transaction here. Damn

And you think people won't still be scammed ?

The problem isn't abt escrow... There are trusted escrows on ground...

The problem is people are careless with their money and believe the drama and attention drawn by theses scammers ...

U new moniker comes on here today and starts putting mouth in matters that he's suppose to watch and learn... He picks on founding members of the thread and try to get attention...

Some people start seeing him as one of the long time members here and fall into the trap...

Nothing will stop the scammers cos this country doesn't have a means of punishing them and the people here haven't learnt at all

I quite agree with the writer on many things he wrote but not when he started abusing the boy's guardian whom he doesn't know or hasn't met.


The boy is just 12 and saying he eats once a day may not be true all the time. You only gotta hold whatever he tells you with a pinch of salt as he could be lieing to get pity.

For the boy's aunty to be responsible enough to enrol the boy in a school, she deserves accolades.

Sending the boy to hawk may not be her wish, it may just be a side hustle to augument what she is making from her own hustle.

That doesn't mean we should dismiss the red flag. According to the chat, the accused claimed he was under anti spambot ban in religion section hence can't quote him at the moment. I just checked Holluwai's profile and saw that he wasn't under any ban. In fact, the last time he was banned by the bots was months ago and it was in tech market section. Besides, if he was banned in religion section, he should be able to post in other sections. That claim alone has given him away as a liar, an impersonator and most likely a scammer. Anybody that carries out transactions with that number will be doing so at his/her own risk. Adding it up right away

As much as we Wann rid scammers, there are cases that you can't just label someone scammer without evidence...
