Went through the school's requirement and they listed portuguese knowledge up to b2 as compulsory... Hope it won't affect our application?

Went to submit my application but it was rejected cos they said I have to submit it with birth certificate, statement of result and 2 passport photos of the pp you used in application. Surprised no one mentioned that here, it's not even on the website. They also said deadline is tomorrow. I'm just angry, I lost my birth certificate and won't be possible to get a new one by tomorrow. *sigh.

It doesn't work that way bro... you can't use cos of this and conclude everyone should ditch uni and learn a trade. Gauge this -

I knew a man that had 2 sons...both of them were in sec school and the junior one said he was tired of school and wanted to follow his uncle and learn a trade... the family agreed that he will serve his oga for 5 years and learn the spare parts business... so after like 4 years.. the uncle accused him of been reckless and stealing money and he was not settled... so he entered another biz same story...

Meanwhile, his big bro went to uni, graduated and luckily got a good job and is doing very well.

What I'm trying to say, is that cos it worked for a or b or doesn't mean it will work for you. Just invest your time in whatever you find happiness in... be it academics or business. Anyone you decide t do, always put in your best and never forget self improvement.

Personally, I believe everyone should get some sort of formal education no matter how basic. Then it's left for you to decide to further or learn a trade.

TheRoyalprince: You don't need acceptance letter before you verify and legalize your docs. The reason why the gentleman was told that it was late for September/October intake was because the verification won't be ready when the classes will start. You can tell the embassy that you want to do it against next session admission.

Thanks bro and thanks a lot for telling the school to wave application fee for those of us from naija... one more thing, how do I locate the Portuguese culture/language school in Lagos? I think it will be wise to start learning Portuguese and if possible learn to B1... I know it's not required for visa... but I think it's a good idea. Please help me with the address I can't find it online. And again, If we get accepted for summer, is there a possibility of them using it for spring intake(February intake) if you request?

moneybag100: I emailed the embassy at abuja and they said it can't meet up for september/october entry that time isn't on my side and it takes up to 3 months for all processing....and please which cheaper school do you have for next year if they can issue admission letter by september and one begins visa process by October it will be accurate for January intake.

I think he said you don't need acceptance letter before you start the process of legalizing docs... @ theroyalprince please correct me if I'm wrong. Moneybag100 I think what we should do now is start the process and get all required documents ready for February intake. I think some schools start accepting applications for feb on october...

The school is utad and tuition is around 2500 euros per year. Try and read from page 1.

I wrote out the date in full. I think the declarant is supposed to be your signature... that's what I put there.

When I was filling the form... this was required. "Photocopy of the Diplomas/qualification certificates/school training (authenticated by a Consular Agent)" I thought we didn't have to legalize when applying? or what does this one mean? please help me with an answer @ theryalprince

Meanwhile... I went ahead and uploaded my waec there too cos it wouldn't let me submit without uploading anything there. Hope it won't make them reject my application?
