1.More Churches are closing down than they are opening up. Thousands of churches and mosque close down every year. I never said most of Christians and Muslims are older people but that those religions are far stronger amongst the elderly compared to the youth. Youth especially western youth are irreligious compared to other religions. Church attendance has been on a decline allover the world.
When boomers and millennials pack up, religion will experience an even greater decline. The world is becoming more secular whether you want to accept it or not.

2. Yes, Those inventions like Internet, Phone are Western. Don’t tell me Philip Emeagawali invented the internet. He didn’t. Internet was a DARPA program.
