The followers are even more self-centered than the leaders. The difference perhaps is that the followers haven't gotten the opportunity to be leaders, otherwise they will be worse

For instance, both Peter Obi and Atiku had promised to remove fuel subsidy and float or devalue the naira.

In fact Atiku own is the worst, he promised selling NNPC, Refinery, National stadium etc. With Atiku as president we would be battling with unemployment resulting from the sale of the national patrimony.

So my brother our leaders are the problem but we are the greater problem. A nation deserve the kind of leaders they have. We are the true reflection of our leaders.

Some of the education we glamorize in Nigeria has spoilt us.

I think 1 year of learning a trade should be inculcated into our syllabus.

Government should identify the top 50 private business owners in Nigeria.

Then start a mentor mentee program where these people teach the mentees how to run a private business.

Not everyone is going to have an office 9am to 5pm job.

Nigerian churches most of the Pentecostal churches are gigantic disgrace to Christianity.
And who still wonders why Oyibo countries are advanced and still keep advancing?
The answer is: Accountability culture even in the churches there.
They have numerous churches and yet keep developing.
Remember The US national motto is "In God We Trust" and she's a superpower.
Whereas Nigeria has millions of churches and new ones keep springing up daily,yet we haven't been able to make reasonable economic development progress since the end of the military regime.
Nigerian churches contribute greatly to the culture of embezzlement,that is inherent in our politicians today.
We pray and pray expecting manna to fall like that from Heaven,but forget that Heaven helps those who help themselves.
We pray and pray,yet foolishly vote in incompetent leaders into power out of stupid ethnic bigotry sentiments.
