Very commendable decision.
Nigerian churches most of the Pentecostal churches are gigantic disgrace to Christianity.
And who still wonders why Oyibo countries are advanced and still keep advancing?
The answer is: Accountability culture even in the churches there.
They have numerous churches and yet keep developing.
Remember The US national motto is "In God We Trust" and she's a superpower.
Whereas Nigeria has millions of churches and new ones keep springing up daily,yet we haven't been able to make reasonable economic development progress since the end of the military regime.
Nigerian churches contribute greatly to the culture of embezzlement,that is inherent in our politicians today.
We pray and pray expecting manna to fall like that from Heaven,but forget that Heaven helps those who help themselves.
We pray and pray,yet foolishly vote in incompetent leaders into power out of stupid ethnic bigotry sentiments.

In reply to your post, there is no country without challenges and there is no perfect economy as far as I know…. Every nation was built by the genuine efforts of its people… your long epistle reeks of cowardice, a clear attempt to demarket the country and divert attention from the real issue…. I will ask again if the citizens of the foreign countries that you are advising Nigerians to japa to decided to run away and not stay back to fix their countries when situation was bad I do not think you or anyone will go to these countries…. It is not by accident that these countries are advanced, it is the hard work, patriotic actions and deliberate sacrifices made by the people…. You should be advising Nigerian youths to let go of stupid tribal sentimental biases and without fear hold the leaders accountable, all the problems you highlighted in your posts are solvable if Nigerians have leaders that are competent.… Those traveling for the sake of education if they did not get a solid educational foundation in Nigerian schools to read and write how would they be able to pursue or advance their education qualifications abroad….? As I said earlier japa is not a sustainable strategy to fix Nigeria’s problems as everyone can not run away from this country…. Nigerians should stop this defeatist agenda of running away from the country and instead stay back to build just like how people in those countries did to be where they are today…..

Nigerians are not really that excellent, if they are excellent Nigeria wouldn't be in such a comatose state, some people would argue that is because of the leaders but the leaders are also part of the people and from the people.

The recent failure in Paris Olympics is another prove that Nigerians are not special or excellent, a nation of 200 million that couldn't win a single medal, but the narcissism in people make them think they are special or excellent.

Bad people could never give birth to good leaders, you can not become a leader in Nigeria if you are good in fact Nigerians would dislike you and won't follow your leadership if you are not corrupt, shady and dishonest like them, reason why Nigeria keep producing shady and corrupt leaders at all level, the leaders are the reflection of the people, Nigeria is just a country of backward black people nothing special or excellent.
