I wanted to ask, is this type of democracy system we're operating in Nigeria?

Our own democratic system is rotation of power from one region to another region. Whether the candidate is capable of well done job to deliver the country or not qualified. Just to zone presidency to one certain region for personal ambition and tribalistic.

Already Northern (Buhari) had ruled Nigeria for 8 years, now He, Ganuje said it was already advocated for South ‘turn' to also rule for 8 years. But who knows? Maybe the qualify and messaiah of this country will emerge from north or whatever region in 2027 election.

Because you should focus on your education doesn't mean you should give up entirely on those other gatherings though. Do them but with caution, see them as social gathering for learning also.

Had similar situation and I wouldn't recommend doing any wrong.

Though I was already seeking God's face back then due to major life situations. And now I know the course I got is much better than the initial one.

It seemed to be a shameful course but I had to walk by faith and settled with the Educational course. As many looked down on me to have settled for such.

Now by God's grace, I've not only taught locally
but also internationally teaching students from different parts... But I think the main thing was I was already Surrendered to God due to prior situation that almost took my life if not for God's Mercy.

Hello Nairaland, please a 21 years old boy needs your advice.

Recently, OAU just offered me admission to study (education and geography) and which is not the course I choose or passionate about.

But due to the pressure on me from my parent and others, I'm willing to accept the offer and get away from home because this is third year of me processing admission .

Now this is the problem, adding the both the school fees and house rent together going to over 200k.

Now I think, Instead for me to go on and waste such amount for on the course I didn't even understand. I'm thinking of collecting the money, then go far from home and start something with it as source of income.

Then sit for another jamb next year.

What will be your wisdom to me ?

In every obstacles, setbacks and failures, there is always an opportunities.

Obstacle is a blockage, standing in the way forward, enemy of progress that keeps stagnant.

Setback the moving of forward and backwardness, unstable moments.

Failure the disappointment of one in high expectations.

However, in all these there's still an opportunities.

Complained doesn't move obstacle but to fight and tackle it.

✓ SETBACK a opportunities to learn from EXPERIENCE, to learn from previous mistakes.

Based on the experience, what op is true.

But sometimes what really caused it is the maltreatment of workers.

Wuraola my first love 💕 in the campus. A very jovial and humble creature, so intelligent in academic and morally. Medium and light in skin.

At day, her beauty shines like Sun ☀️, in the night wuraola eyes sparkle like stars ✨, her voice like honey. No doubt wuraola the real definition beauty of a woman.

At school shopping 🛒 complex one day, at mama Tayo food canteen, having our breakfast 🥞 there with two of my friends. A young beautiful 😍 lady came forward, wanted buy food. She greeted us nicely 🙂 and we respond, told her how angelic 😍she was. Buying the food finished she went away.

Deep in me, having the intention of confessing my love for her🌹, my friends pushed me to follow up but I was scared 😨.

They said “coward dead before their time". The fear in me could not permit me and to approach the girl of my dream. The day went off and leave a regret in my heart 💔.


The second day, have made up my mind to be strong 💪, went again to mama Tayo food canteen with the hope of meeting the beautiful 😍 one again.

All but no avail. I was disappointed 😥. How I'm going to locate her ? Thinking 🤔 that in my heart.

Days past days, weeks past weeks, I and wuraola never met once. .............fast forward ⏩ to the end of semester examination. I was in 200l, unknowing to me she also was in 200l in same faculty.

The exam was near, every student was preparing and studied hard. That rememberance day, I'm on my way to the library📚 to go read.

I met wuraola there, I approach her told her maybe she still recognizes my face? To my surprise 🫢, she said yes. Learning from the experience, I wrote the love letter 💌 in paper then gave it to her. The next day, she called 📞me and said yessss ✅. ♥️♥️
