waste of time
not really, anything about creating awareness is never a waste of time.
if he should get this write up out on the net such as fb or twitter a lot of people will relate to it and spread it round. you would be surprised at the amount of people who have these bad experiences with nipost and customs, myself included. do you also think nipost and customs do not have people paid to look on the net regarding negative feedbacks about them? you will be surprised.
especially in this time where govt employees and civil servants are trying to sit up cos of buhari.

FamilyRe: Guys I'm Really Confused,i Caught My 11 Years Old Cousin With Another Girl by henribj(m): 8:58pm On Sep 18, 2015
op the best thing to do is report to her parents.
while growing up, a lot of us were disciplined by our parents, some harshly, some not so harshly, but the fact remains that our parents loved us which is why to a greater extent they disciplined us, and if we are truthful to ourselves we would admit that those disciplinary measures kept us in check and partly helped us develop into the matured(not all o, some have just refused to mature, they need to visit bar-beach for deliverance) human beings we are today. so no matter how this girl's parent will discipline her, they want the best for her, i mean, who wants their child to be a lesbian or even bi-sexual in 9ja?
you just have to tell the parents, cos they will keep a better eye on her than you will ever be able to. how would you feel if that girl clocks 20 and is a full time lesbo, how can you ever look her straight in the eyes or look the parents str8 in the eyes knowing you contributed to their child being a full time graduated lesbo with a degree, practicing since the tender young age of 11, not even a teenager yet sef.

I'm not presently in Nigeria, so there is nothing I can do about it. I only told him to write an appeal which he has done.
you could also write an appeal and copy the customs office in lagos and nipost etc, they should have facebook pages and twitter handles etc.. put all these in the public domain.

Smile! In summary: That in today's country and world at large, Success is not by Educational status (Graduates or No graduates) and Until we start creating jobs for ourselves, loads of present and unborn illiterates would continue to employ university graduates, pay their salaries and dictates to them what to do and what not.
ahhh OP, you are wicked o shocked
so you even know how to summarize that long story and yet you still went ahead to punish us with that long story? ahh it is not fair o

I told the person to write an appeal to the customs to see if they will review the cost. Anytime I get packages here no matter how heavy it is from Nigeria and Europe I don't get charged a dime. Why is Nigeria charging such a high rate?
bruv, no matter how long you and me drag this matter or try to fathom why they charge exorbitant rates, the only answer we will arrive at is GREED/CORRUPTION.
And until we do something about it by exposing them, they won't sit up. in your case it is for the receiver to write a letter to customs and nipost head. NIPOST is not meant to even charge you, na customs suppose charge of which they would pass the receiving of the money to NIPOST. any amount you are supposed to pay customs is included in your shipping fees.

am not presently in Nigeria. Why are we making things difficult for ourselves? It's just funny to me. How I will be charges $100 to claim a package? This is complete insanity.
complete insanity, that's 9ja for you, if you never halla no one go take you serious.
write a letter to their head of operations or manager or supervisor or something, them go sit up.
