Hello can we connect as my cousin is in exact situation and I have been looking for solutions to get this resolved. Maybe sharing ideas together on options we sre trying might help thanks.

My cousin got exactly this same response and his previous application was a refusal without any ban. He also got no PFL. This is quite strange and I have been having a difficult time understanding the whole issue.

I have already requested a GCMS note but it's interesting seeing another person with this exact response.

I'm sorry, this my question may be a bit off point, but I'm a little bothered pls.

The question is that "everyone who applied for this scholarship, pls did you all sat for English proficiency test and passed it before applying for this scholarship?".

Because, I've been receiving a lot of scholarship updates for long, I didn't apply for any because of the condition of English proficiency test based on the orientation I received sometimes ago that I can still find my way to study abroad with the EPT..

Pls guys, advice me. Should I go for EPT or is it not necessary?

For McGill is not mandatory for Nigerians. Same with most Candian schools too. I also applied at Memorial University Of Newfoundland at Canada. They honoured a Proof of proficiency of English I got from my Nigerian university dully signed by my Registrar. Schools and scholarships vary if you also get confused don't fail to mail the school or scholarship body for clarification.

Yes I have been admitted to Chemical Engineering for Master's Program. But am yet to get any feedback as regards the scholarship shortlisting. I think from there timeline shortlisting is meant to start from 14th March.

For PGD I would prefer Mechanical Engineering but for direct masters I would go for electrical engineering. I studied Electrical Engineering. I know no University would allow me do Masters in mechanical when I studied electrical without doing a PGD first. Thanks a lot for been of help.

I think most engineering courses are flexible, besides there is a good link between electrical and mechanical, depending on the area of specialization I think you might likely get admission in mechanical engineering too. Except the challenge is on result bases. But just know electrical can switch to mechanical During M.Eng without need for PGD
