Do you know as big as apple is TSMC from Taiwan manufactures it's processor,sony and lg for screen panel....and apple is the richest tech industry in the whole word and we all know apple designs the phone while the real work is done by foxconn....so for someone to manufacture 60% parts...it's a great deal...I'm a Yoruba and I still feel like getting all those parts sooner than 2020...but wetin Kenya get...just hating .....

It simple. Prove to us the percentage of the components manufactured in Nigeria and those shipped from China. Having a car badge is not manufacturing a car. China can make anything for you and you can label anything. It doesn't make you manufacturer your own car.

Something even South Africa are yet to do.South Africa and Algeria have most of Africa advance car manufacturing - but they are still making cars for VW, BMW, Toyota and such

Making a car is no joke. Show us Innoson factory where they make catalytic converters? or even simple gear box. Mobius is really crappy car but at least they manufacture most of their items save for the engine (Euro engine) and the gear box.Everything else is made in Kenya.

Innoson motors doesn't manufacture any car; They just assemble car parts from china. And in that regard they are babies compared to many kenya vehicle assemblers.

I think in Sub-Saharan Africa - Kenya should be second to South Africa - in terms of vehicle assembling and production. Some biggest in Kenya include Foton, GM, and of course Thika base KVM.

For Innoson to claim to manufacture their own car - we have to find out the % of component manufactured in Nigeria and those shipped from China.

From my little research - Innoson is motor vehicle assembler. But like anything Nigeria - except them to cheat/lie/connive/con.

Kenya's Mobius can be described as Kenya manufactured car - coz they only import the engine and the gear.
