rvp2017: You've got jokes. Ibandan and Lagos can only beat kenya in SLUMSCRAPPERS not skyscrappers. Lagos seem to have build that skyscrapper in 70s and that marked basically the end of it.
Nairobi can only compete with Joburg and Cario. Not Lagos. Leave alone the slum city of Ibandan. In skyscrappers, infrastructure, buildings and general livability. Nairobi the city with the worsted slum in the world

Kenyanstar: You guys are really loosing focus, the main topic was on the social-economy of Kenya and what the Kenyan government is doing different that the Nigeria goverment has failed to do. The issue of skyscrapers does not impact directly to the common citizens since they are private entities. I would rather you show me pictures of government funded and built up hospitals, schools and major impacting amenities that benefit the average Nigerian. And u guys are lacking insight and just been myopic, every development in a country is directly or indirectly linked to the government,if there are no political stability, preferentail treatment and policy,or infrastructure which are basically determine by the government, then investors will hesitate to invest. And about those amenities the most remote villages in nigeria has all of that, and it choleric to be showcasing basic amenities in 21st century. |

Ondo the only south west state among Niger delta produce 7.500% of oil,yet the reserved oil field is double the one under exploitation. The exploration of oil in coastal regions of Ogun is gaining momentum.Lagos presently has the largest gas manufacturing plant in Africa and the dangote refinery is on a long run taking you to some areas in lekki you will mistake for Kuwait oils field.South west are now free from tumultuous rant from churlish folks.Gone are the eras of "it's our oil money "and it gone forever |

Bifwoli: On point #2 even if that were the case the port is used by 4 countries isn't that an edge over Nigeria? Afterall you folks argue incessantly about your bigger GDP ,big population and constantly mocking "small countries" -its a harsh verdict over such shallow arguments. What a foolish point you make forgiveness is wrong in that regard apapa port is second to Cape Town port in Africa go read a book........ |
