To flash with SP FLASH TOOL without losing data, make sure you tick only the following
UBOOT
BOOTIMG
RECOVERY
SEC_RO
LOGO
ANDROID
Make sure every other box is deselected, then flash. You will be upgraded and you get to keep your data.
*note ; the moment u deselect some boxes, "firmware upgrade" will change to "download". Leave it like that, that's how it must be.

That's what happened to me too... But you can download the full Rom and flash... You'll just unticked some boxes so you don't lose data.

Extract the TF version being sent to you, inside it you will see another Zip file named update. Flashed that through stock recovery it will work

I did mine that way and it was showing installation aborted.

The same issue happened to me I never got the Ota update... Some guy sent me a TF version update which didn't work for me(dunno if I was doing something wrong cos they claimed it worked for them).
I eventually had to download the full update for flashing. If you want the TF version, drop your mail I'll send the link.

I have the Tf version too. And when I try updating via stock recovery it says installation aborted, I don't know why.

I'm a living testimony to that. I was rooted and I had cwm. I unrooted my hot note pro, flashed back stock recovery and upgraded. guess what, I don't have a bricked phone.

Bro please do you know anyone that was rooted before,but later unroot for ota update and didn't brick his phone?
Because I heard from someone that even after you unroot, the phone might still get bricked

Dude please I heard the camera for this 0925 version is not good compared to the precious 0910 version. And the phone storage does not display again. Is this true?

Guys since I updated to the latest 0910 lollipop pdate, my GTA San Andreas app have refused to install, please is there any fix for this
