Hello boss, I'm currently having the same problem here with my umidigi but I don't want to give it to "anyhow engineer" to help me fix
And I feel it's might be a minor issue. The charging indicator is always on but it's actually not charging and I've used multiple chargers but nothing much has changed.
I believe you have fixed yours now, how did you do it?

Mine has been resolved, I bought a new charging board but I didn't use it, reason being after the operator opened the phone he checked the board in the phone for any issues but stated there was no visible problem with the board so he cleaned it & told me to retry charging the phone & it started working seamlessly after that.

Sometimes what you just need is to remove the battery & replace it (This will reset the functions on the phone) and it works normally again. For this to be done you must give an operator to open the phone.

Second, you must disassemble the screen before you get to the charging port.

The charging port board is different from the main board. Why will they heat the screen to change a charging port.

Take your phone to a competent guy and you are good to go.

Or better still drop your location and OGs here can recommend a repairer for you.

The way the phone is built, you can only access the internal parts of the phone through the screen. Do you understand?

I'm in Abuja BTW, if there is any repairer in the house

It's your Charing port that is faulty. Change it and you are good to go.

My concern is opening the phone, I'm scared of the repairer messing with the screen, that will be double expenses

I need assistance.
My Umidigi Bison has a charging issue, it shows that it is charging but the battery does not increase, sometimes when I power the phone off the battery percentage will increase, but very slow. (I have tried multiple chargers & cables).

I'm trying to change the Charging I.C, But the phone repair guy said they must heat the phone screen inorder to repair it (that's the way to open the phone). The screen does not have any issue & I'm concerned of them spoiling the screen.

Tried assessing Twitter with VPN on the Phone, but when the VPN is on I cannot do anything with my internet.

Note: This is the same VPN I was using on my A5 pro & it works perfectly
