A New year message to Students, Teenagers, and Youths. Happy new year! Welcome to 2018! Thank God for Life. It's true a lot has happened in 2017 but thank God we scaled through. Congratulations friends! Another 365 days lie ahead of us, another unexplored year. Now, the question is, What do we intend to do with it? How do we want to utilize it? What Height do we hope to attain? What vision are working on...What problems do we want to solve this year? How many lives do we want to impact? You see, it's high time the Youths and adults of this nation got responsible and take responsibility for ourselves. We have no excuse to go give as to why we can't be productive. Our destiny depends on us not on our country or situations around. Until you take responsibility for your life, you'll never go far. It's high time we stopped blaming others for our failures and take responsibility for our lives, Your background, country, family shouldn't determine how far you go but your decision. Take responsibility! Students/Teenagers/Youths, It's high time we became productive. It's high time we start walking in Purpose. It's time for impact! Our generation is waiting. What do you have to offer? I'm tired of seeing ladies and men slaying with pictures alone without anything upstairs, no knowledge. I'm tired of seeing Youths walking aimlessly without impact. I'm tired of seeing Youths smoking their lives away and living irresponsibly. For how long will we continue this way? I'm tired of seeing immorality ruling my generation.. I don't know if I'm the only one bothered by this. For how long will we keep wasting away! I make a call to all Teenagers and Youths to turn a new leaf today. This unproductivity has to end. WHERE IS PURPOSE? WHERE ARE THE BEN CARSONS? WHERE ARE THE THOMAS EDISONS!? Pls, we must take our lives seriously this year. We must 'slay' academically and knowledge-wise too.. We must be responsible this year. No more excuses whatsoever. We must walk in Purpose this year. Ultimately, Our journey to greatness starts with knowing Jesus, surrendering our lives to Him and walking with Him. See, He alone can help us! We tried with our strength last year but failed! It's time to get serious with Jesus Christ this year! If you don't have a serious relationship with Christ, then I'm calling on you to give your life to Him Today. ARISE Youths and Teenagers! It's time to take responsibility for our lives. It's time to take Destiny seriously. It's time to be productive. We don't have all the time. GREATNESS CALLS. © UKA PRECIOUS. 1/1/18 |

SUCCESS - A DELIBERATE EFFORT. PART ONE (THE NEED FOR GOAL SETTING). The definition of success The oxford dictionary defines success as the accomplishment of an aim or goal. Everyone desires success, non-challant ones not excluded. However, you must know and understand that success doesn’t just happen. It requires deliberate efforts; you have to work towards making it happen. There is a need for planning. Success in life, business, academics, ministry etc is intentional. In the part one of this series, I’ll be emphasizing on goal-setting as a success strategy; the need for goal setting. It is quite surprising that a lot of people do not set goals, not to talk of accomplishing them. This is often as a result of laziness, non-challant attitude towards success; they do not believe in deliberate planning and are not result-oriented. If you must record success, you must make goal-setting a priority, you must learn to deliberately set goals and work towards them. Let your success be deliberate. What is a goal? A goal is an ambition, object of desire, objective, purpose, aspiration. Goal-setting is an act of making an objective, an aspiration. It involves -Goal conceiving -Goal writing -Goal implementation Goal conceiving: goal conceiving/goal birthing, is an act of developing an idea, birthing a goal, having a target. If your target is not defined, you won’t walk with a direction. This is the starting point to success as you cannot achieve what you have not conceived. Have a target; consciously SET A TARGET for yourself. In academics, don’t read to ‘just’ pass, have a target or point you want to reach; clearly define your goals and aims. Success is intentional-you make it happen. I challenge you to have a dream, a goal. Set a target! Goal writing: after conceiving a goal, WRITE IT DOWN. Put them down on paper and ink. Writing your goals down helps you remember them. It helps you remain focus and also acts as a source of motivation-it spurs you to action. Personally, whenever I go through my written goals, I become more awake to my responsibilities and also become more focused. Don’t just have the picture of what you want to achieve, state it on a paper. Goal implementing: the purpose of setting goals is to realise it. Remember, goal is an objective you desire to accomplish. After writing down your goals, TAKE STEPS towards achieving them. You are to one to make it happen; it won’t work out itself. If you must record success, then you must be deliberate. My personal philosophy is that “everything is possible only if you work towards them”. He who fails to plan; plans to fail. Take responsibility for your life. Success is possible only if you work towards it. Conceive goals. Write them down. Work towards them. Focus. Trust God. You can make it! © Precious U.writing https://elitesquadbloggers..nl/2017/07/success-deliberate-effort-part-one.html?m=1 |

There are quite a number of things you do, but striking balance is the issue. Things you can do include... 1. Rendering internet service to fellow students..course registration and the likes. You could earn big during your sch's screening period for jamb students.. Printing of jamb admission letters and the likes. 2. Online services..if you're a writer, there are cool writing jobs you could get..even here on NL. 3. Think, what are you good at. How can you market it? What do people around you need? God help you! Don't forget to involve God! Jesus Loves you! All the best! |
