I think ,in my subjective opinion, that
there is the need to call a spade its real
name 'spade' here and face the fact. It is
unusually disturbing that unilorin, an
highly rated citadel of learning around
this part of the globe, could go as low as not being able to come out with the
list of her newly admitted students two
months after conducting a 'Cambridge
university's final PHD exam' like post
utme screening. When you take and
use what belongs to others without their consent or knowledge, you are
reasonably considered, seen,
addressed and treated as a thief. Why
would BBF university subject herself to
unnecessary rush and doubt by
sending p.utme screening result within the first 30minutes of submitting
answers to her computers, when all the
needed plans/machinery were not in
place to fasttrack other stages of the
admission process- publishing of list?
Unilorin is not only wasting time, her actions and, or inactions are
tantamount to stealing all applicants/
aspirants precious time. This
unconscious act of stealing has, is and
shall if not checked, continue to give
rise to fraudulent acts all in the name of 'begging for and helping to secure
admission'. It is pertinent to mention
here the financial, psychological, health
cum ecosocial implications of this God
forsaken delay. My plea goes to the
following; the school management, aspirants, returning students, visitors,
passers-by and thread/ website
owners (on all internet threads or
websites that has the name unilorin), to
inform aspirants (officially on the
school website) whatever may answer some if not all their questions, to be
patient enough in order not to be
duped, to stop confusing the aspirants
or creating an atmosphere of
unnecessary anxiety all in the names of
knowing someone who does not know if they exist at all or claiming to
be a part of the school system, to stop
telling aspirants unimportant things
that could be found in their different
schools or villages, to stop posting
rumours in order to achieve traffic on their threads, because any benefit- cash
or otherwise, made in the process
would rather mar than make them. Let
those people picking the date that the
list will be released 'as if they are
picking beans' desire some respect and blessing by keeping quiet. A clarion call
is sent out that we should all give this
unwelcomed delay in the release of the
list a priority in our discussions with the
people that care to listen and matter in
the society. Finally, joy shall feel all aspirants heart whenever the list is
finally released. A word that preceded
all that you have just read (on my mind)
is 'PRAYER'. I am also an aspirant. Bless
