While presenting the state budget to the members of the state House of Assembly yesterday December 8th, Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose announced that beginning from ‎January 2016, N5,000 will be given to 10,000 indigent residents of the state as a monthly allowance.

Fleeing Boko Haram terrorists attempting to escape from military onslaught in Sambisa forest, through Pulka were intercepted and decisively dealt with by troops in blocking position in the area. During the encounter many of the terrorists were killed while one was captured alive.
