People that are talking about apps. Most of 2.6million apps on play store, only 600,000 apps are useful. Others are duplicates and replicas with various names. Huawei acquiring aptoide puts Google in a defensive position. Reason is that people(especially nigerians) won't have to pay any money just to download apps again unlike play store where some apps are paid.

Nigerians started using Android because of the low prices of Chinese Android phones(tecno and infinix). Without these Chinese companies, Android phones would have been very expensive and we will still be stocked with BlackBerry and Symbian in Nigeria. Most Nigerians don't care about the OS , na battery and camera be their problem. If China can compel all the phone manufacturers to use Huawei os on their phones, we won't have any other option than to start buying new tecno, itel and infinix phones with THE new os. Adaption is simple in the face of monopoly.
90percent of Android users in Nigeria uses tecno and infinix, imagine what will happen when these two companies shifts to the new OS.
Beside, the OS looks similar to Android in physical looks so most people won't notice and wouldn't encounter any problem pressing the phone.

We Africans has a lot to learn from the whites. Look at Trent Arnold and mbappe at the peak of their career and yet still focused. All they do is train harder in order to get better. If c. Ronaldo at his age and glory still arrives to the training hours before other team players starts arriving, why shouldn't iheanacho do so. He choose money and flexing over career.
