My deepest appreciation to the backline. Everyone of them put in their heart, special regards to Alonso, his wing was the most bombarded yet he always found a way to go on the offense and be back before Salah got close to the 18yards box. I'd love to call out some players, but instead I'll just say this, Tuchel better now make the tough decision, and build this team around Havertz.
Great game! |

Havertz10: if we want to dominate europe, we will have to pay to have a sit on that table
Top players command huge wages, we can't be expecting to win things paying players less than 200k a week Which table is ManU and PSG sitting on? |

BlueAngel444: HewlettPackard doesn't understand that Abrahimovic wants to give Tuchel he very own "Mbappe" in the form of Haaland
Chelsea won't spend more than 130m and they would probably give him a base salary of 200k plus bonus related additions which could take it up to 300k-400k, things like title bonuses, goal bonuses etc Do you know what offering Haaland 300k a week would do to our wage structure in the next 5years? |

Capaldi: Lol Psg are negotiating to buy Hakimi from inter for 60million plus 10million in bonuses and that's for only a right back but you are here typing that Haaland, who is one of the best striker in the world with so much potential at just 21 should go for nothing more than 80million. Fear God o Anything from that German league take it with a pinch. They play amateur football. EH hasn't done anything to to activate the figures I'm seeing on SM. 100mil euros, little above 80mil pounds and a wage btw 170-200 should do it IMHO. |

Anything above £80m to dortmund for EH and a weekly wage above 200 is simply stupid, and i haven't known marina to engage in stupid business. |

Skimpledawg: HewlettPackard, how far? Boss! we are champions! Damn excited. Prior to the game my fear was how Tuchel would be able to motivate the boys to play like champions, and the ambience wasn't helping matters considering the Arsenal to Villa games, i'm certain morales were lower than expected, but damn the man did the job. The only way i can describe the team's performance will be with the toon character Popeye - after swallowing a can of spinach. Chilwell oh my God! Chilwell was mad, that has got to be his best performance for us. The back line was mad, as though they all could read each others thought. The midfield was compact. Words, fail me my brother, Mason Mount weighted pass, Havertz superstar finish, damn, I'm over the moon. Overall, I'm excited. This is the only thing we football fans get out of our clubs - Glory. We don't partake in decision makings, we don't share in financial dividends. This is it for us. I salute and felicitate with the coaching crew, the players, the guys in the top offices, our wonderful owner, the fans worldwide, special mention to our congregation here on Nl. Let us KTBFFH. |

eph12: Even top coaches that won the league are sacked the next season at Chelsea. They sack for any reason.
You talked about how the mentality can only be developed by winning trophies, meanwhile Klopp and lfc went from losing finals to becoming European and league champions. They lost a final o, but they won the next season. Mr trophy in the mud We don't sack for any reason, we sack for under performance relative to the club standard. |

Madrid is not a match for us, we just messed up the first leg for ourselves. I'd prefer Kai as false nine than Giroud. We need runners and players that can quickly counter. |

A40: You're just yarnin megedefegede at this point. Less than 20 years ago we had 4 seasons where you needed 17 games to win a title.
Do you hear anybody downplaying subsequent CL tournaments before and after like you are trying to do?
A coach less and depressed team that still won their league?
Chelsea won a CL title yet finished 6th in your league. You're the last European team not to win the Club World Cup, you were trashed in the Supercup and got knocked out in the group stage the very next season.
That CL win was a bigger fluke than Denmark and Greece winning the Euros ...
