Hmm. True. What you've narrated is very common. You know generally there's a lot of decay in our environment and the world at large. No one or place or profession is spared in this decay. It's more like the vices we see common to a particular sect of the community. But a happy life and family and business is a choice.

I'm glad you didn't generalize. Our perception, up bringing, exposure, knowledge etc informs our attitude. Those married folks you met might be reacting to something or maybe that's just the way they've been even before marriage. I can't claim to understand or excuse them all.
