It took me a lot of guts to bring up this matter here because I already know the reactions by majority of Nairalanders. I know I will be lampooned, lambasted, dragged, trolled and insulted. But no problems.

At the time, I had nobody to speak sense into me. Also I felt I acted on Impulse. When I was given, I was tested. A cutlass was used to cut me but it didn't penetrate. A Dane gun was used to shoot at me but it didn't penetrate. That was the first time I ever experienced this, I thought all these never existed for real.

The thing is more like a community thing, we did it openly. I didn't go to a native doctor elsewhere. It was done right in my community, almost all the youths in that community and clan were fortified so as to help them in time of wars and fights against the Fulani herdsmen who come to attack once in a while. Outsiders are not welcomed.
