Category 4 and 5 (Unskilled Labours):
1. General Labours
2. Housekeepers
3. Construction Labours
4. Helper
5. Cleaner
6. Loading & Unloading
7. Office Boy etc

You can't move within this category without getting a ban.

For the guy u r talking abt, he moved to category 3 even dough his salary doesn't match Wat d rule stated, he is covered.

Now Note this, what worked for you might not easily work for you as an African. These guys knw Aw dey find Dia ways within company and their language is an advantage coupled with good relationships with people around.

I wnt advice any1 risking resignation under probation. The explanation and negotiation they can do with their native language might not work with your English.

I heard you have to pay the company the money they used in processing your employment visa before leaving, kindly confirm

At the briefing yesterday, the manager told everyone that whoever want to leave should at least leave a good legacy behind. The guy wrote "This job is meant for machines not for human beings" on reason for resignation. He replaced the resignation form give to him.

After work hour, The guy explained that if you are on probation, the employer can fire you, giving you one week notice without payment of any compensation and the employee can also resign with some reasons without paying any fine whatsoever.

One of the reason - If you are on non-degree job and you secure a degree job within your probation period.

Meanwhile you cannot leave a non-degree job for another non-degree job. For example: you are working as a steward and you secure a job offer of a receptionist, customer service representative, marketing expert etc. You can leave you employer without paying any fine.

If you are working as a Mechanic ------ and you secure a steward job, you will be terminated and ban for 6months. The issue here is to understand a non-degree job and a degree job.

The gurus in the house can help us with the new labour law in UAE. He was trying to give me more insight before the bus arrived and we are seriously tired. I could only grab the degree job part because of the tiredness. The gurus can do justice to that.

This is to inform the house that you can resign before completing your 6months probation period if you secure a better offer. My friends One Pakistani and Egyptian got an offer of 2800AED receptionist job few days ago. One of them sign his resignation letter yesterday. The Egyptian is off yesterday, maybe he will do the same today.

One of them told me that with the new labour law, you can resign before completing your probation period if you have your Emirate ID. He said he will work for free for one Month or pay his one month salary to the company. Expect update from me.

I share this information to tell you guys that you should not be afraid to start small. Sometimes 3months visiting visa can not get you your desired job but start small to get a stay and proceed thereafter.

1. Baba u can buy food come from Naija, u don't want to be eating outside. And I think 150k should epp u for the 1st 2months since u included accommodation, I can't say abt d 3rd month.

2. Dress cooperate.

3. Depends on Ur company, some company will ask u to stay and dey pay the fine even if u overstay while some will tell you to exit

4. U can buy Ur ticket 2hrs b4 travel if there is seat available

Hmmmm, #150k for first 2months..... I don't think it will be enough ooooooo. The cost of accommodation will determine whether it will be enough.. Brother, you can still source for money to join oo.. @Nonny fit understand wetin I dey try talk better.

@Hilcrown. i have someone in UAE who works there now and advised my bro shld apply for 90days tourist visa. i called wakanow and they said dubai has stopped 30/60/90days visa. dey do only 14days now... dey do more than 14days for someone going with fmly say wife and kids. the waka now contact also said if u get a guarantor who is a UAE RESIDENT or national the person will give an undertaking that you will come back along with USD3K deposit. please wat say ye people? what is the nex way forward?

Like the guru's will say "it's not entirely true" or "who tell you"

My brother, you can get 3months visa dubai visa from a genuine agent.

Hmmm, I Will advice you go for 3months tourist visa, though it's somehow expensive and the fear of the unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Don't fall into the den of 9ja travel agent with there sweet offer ooo. I pray a friend on this forum will escape and see the favour of God in the next 5months, so he can give a testimony. Please be careful. I went through a lot despite 3months visa. I will share my experience soon but please I will advice you go for 3months.....

You cannot get employment Visa without thump printing. if you already have one, it means someone sign and thump printing on your behalf.

Am not permitted to mention figures on that, is not everything about you, you are to disclose but I will give you insight. I have someone that want to do 3months for me #100 cheaper than the amount I paid. One traveling agency in Nigeria want to do it for me #60k
cheaper than the amount I paid but I decided to pay such money because if i calculate $200 I will pay for accommodation monthly plus those cheaper price, it will amount to the amount I paid. I wont pay for accommodation now. We have stayed to together for 8days so I know his behavior and my way round shajgah. The room is well equipped and a considerate landlord compared to unforeseen circumstances.

Amen , I don't see Nigeria immigration officials has hurdle after my first experience with them. Last year they made me delayed flight because my BTA is not enough. (When I said delayed flight, YES) no mistake. My friend works with the airline. At the last interface, the immigration officer demanded for #10k and I refused. Funny thing is that I have been stamped out of Nigeria... I called my friend and he appeared there angrily and lambasted the man. So he vounch that he wouldn't let me go..took me back to there office, I was disturb. The man is my tribe, the oga woman on sit too, is my tribe. As we valued respect in my tribe, I went on my kneels to plead, my friend saw me and blast me too that why would I go down on my kneels for her. So all immigration officer got annoyed.. By this time, I was hearing Flight EY637 is wai waiting for one passenger. I pull off my shoes and read psalm 24, to the Glory of God and to the shame of the devil, my angel appear (Immigration officer) said Everyone let this boy go. It was as if he put juju on his tongue, nobody argue, they said I should go. I called my friend again, he said the issue now is I have been stamped out I cannot follow the normal route, so I went back to them and explained to my angel, he now said I should plead with the oga woman to take me through.. I called my friend to give the woman #5k. Another funny scenario is that I never knew 1 to 2hrs challenges can make someone loose weight instantly. I entered the plane with my boxers only as my belt can no longer hold my trouser. The irish air hostress called me to one corner and assisted me before I locate my seat. Everyone on the plane was surprised to see one slim, looking rough, gentle guy delayed a flight. THAT IS THE STORY Of my first travelling. It was God at work..... Though i will not be going with the same airline this time around because of there I rate but I believe the lord that did it for me the first is still very much available for me this time too.

So i encourage you not to have fear for immigration officer in our airport. This is one testimony out of many the Lord did for me on that travelling.

On job hunting, I put my faith in God so I have notting to be afraid of..

My sister, am sorry I don't understand this simple English oooo. Am getting nervous now. Though I stayed with with him the last time I visited and even help him brings goods to NIGERIA. And still have all his contact. He's not an agent but might patronise one to get the visa. I believe God will not place it in his mind to joke with my life. Amen

About the certification/authentication, it seems to me that certification of documents done at the high court means no need for authentication done at MOE/MOF. Is that correct?

High Court can never authenticate/certify your certificate!! Brother, the only authorized organization is MOE and MOFA. There's no need to beat around the bush. If you are going for studied anywhere, you need eligibility Letter, you can Google to know what it meant for. Eligibility letter is compulsory for post/under/over graduate... Kashiko

My brother, authentication and certification to me is the same..... If you are going for education, you need eligibility letter. If you are going to UAE for job, you don't need eligibility Letter.

Lol u weren't paying attention then, authentication doesn't pay attention to grades, even F9 can be authenticated as long as the result is genuine. He was referring to those that came for "Eligibility". If u fail to credit ur English or Maths then u can't get the "Eligibility Letter". I am 100percent sure of this. If his result isn't authenticated let him come and collect his TF from me.

Tell your brother to go and authenticate his cert, I got D7 in maths and mine was accepted. Scores aren't problems in authentication. U have nothing to worry about.

@valclint, you are lucky to authenticate your result with D7 in mathematics doesn't mean he will be lucky to do same. They issue warning to those without credit in Math and English right from there gate and I vividly remember we both hear your friend (that fat security guy CIVIL DEFENCE) repeatedly warn them to go home.

Well, If am wrong, kindly confirm from others before embarking on the journey to Abuja but am 1000% sure I heard their officials and the security guy mentioned it.
