See you ooo, #3k hotel bill per day multiply by 12days equal to #36k. Transport from gwagwalada to eagle square for #12days equal to #12k. Food for 12days equal to 12k. Authentication equal to #25k. Transport to and fro equal to 12k.

Total of 62k. If I add small change I go book Rwanda airline enter Dubai. Shey that babe fit drop 100k within 1week. Moreover she fine but lack respect for elders. I no blame her sha, na her papa money dey speak. My brother, make I go hustle for flight and PTA money.

If you are about to go for authentication at UAE embassy, wait until next week before coming to Abuja. The change in dollar of forex policy in Nigeria create changes in dirham at the office today.

They asked people that want to submit to call one number before coming back to their office. The secretary told them the consular asked him to hold-on until he knows the exchange rate.

I will try and get the number before tonight.

there is only 1 and 3 months available for job seekers. Better to have a 3months . processing the employment visa is supposed to be free of charge once u r on ground but some employer Might charge u up to 4000 which is illegal. U need to exit via ur home country or nearby countries for visa change unless the company is ready to pay the extra charge to change it internally. Yes you can change a job after 6months once u meet the terms on ur contract. Hope I gave u wat u needed

@Nattybanta you are right on that 4k charges. One of my friend paid 2k and agree to deduction of 300dhr out of 1k dhr salary every month until completion. According to him, he's even the one responsible for medical fees. He said the total charges is 4400dhr for visa exchange and medical.

Frm d info gathered here, I think most jobs they offer Nigerians ova thr are unskilled, and I think they hardly appreciate our cert. I've never heard anyone say he/she got an employment with either BSc/HND, all I've been readin is HSE cert, NSE cert, HDD, bla bla bla(pardon me, I can't remember) . For those that got employment with our 9jerian Cert, please share in details. Tnk u all.

Oga Mi Sir, I came to Abuja since Thursday last week from Lagos, lodge in on small hotel in gwagwalada for #3k per night. I might people from different states too, so No big deal coming from Lagos my brother.

@Valclint and I met different relatives or family member who came from various states to help/assist their brother/sister who already working in UAE to authenticate his/her certificate. I don't think you need to hear anybody say he/she got job through first degree. I know people got job through their first degree but no be everybody dey cast. Shey you know wetin GOD package for you?

My one kobo advice, go with 3months visa, go to Abuja to authenticate your certificate before going to UAE and pray very well. Baba GOD go pick-up our call. I rest my fingers.

You can only authenticate your result in the country you studied and it not a must but MIGHT be required.

There's no way you can authenticate your first degree without authentication of your O level.

Your employers might not require your first degree, might not require your results. It depends on prayer, luck and connections.

You cannot authenticate UAE embassy without authentification from MOE and MOFA.

If you follow sharp way 4 - 5working days.

Note.
From anywhere you are coming from, make sure you arrive abuja on Sunday. It will make you process easier if you start on Monday.

MOE will open by 10am - depend on ----------
MOFA will open by 10am - depend on --------
UAE embassy will open by 10:30 - 1:30pm

All organisation will not attend to you on Fridays.

The amount on the first page of this thread is for due process but for sharp runs, you cannot estimate the cost. It depend on your negotiating power.

UAE embassy no get wahala at all, pay your #7500 and come back in 3days for collection.

Additional information on authentication.

Make sure ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs put there seal and signature on both your original copy of your certificate and photocopy.

UAE will demand for both original and photocopy to confirm the seal and signature but will work on the photocopy.

UAE fee is #7500 and come back for collection after 2working days.

I just dey learn lesson here ooooo. Had to pay for what have paid for but not properly seal and sign.

Please hold enough cash.

My poor English is self- explanatory. Someone today authenticate his statement of result through "inner-contact" but paid wella.

But you can't if you follow due process.

but most schools don't give out transcript directly to students ....they prefer sending it to your destination them self .......and will a single result be authenticated in 3 places (min of edu......min of foreign affair.......u.a.e embassy ?) and is it only abuja that one can authenticate

You cannot authenticate you BSC/HND without authenticating your O-level. You can authenticate your O-level only.

If you want to follow due process, there's standard rate but if you want to collect your certificate that very day and save yourself from the stress of moving from one bank to the other, looking for bank that has service to do remittal into federal government account account (TSA), no standard rate.

Additional information on Authentication!!!!!!

For HND holders, you have to go there with your O-Level certificate, OND certificate and the HND certificate.

For everybody, if you don't pass (Credit) in Mathematics and English, don't bother yourself. Even if you have foreign admission letter, they will not attend to you.

For those that want to travel to Malaysia, China, Philippines etc that need eligibility letter. You wait for 5working days after you have collect your authentication.

Ministry of foreign affairs is easy, just drop you bribe and wait for 30min - 1hr you are good to go.

Tomorrow is another day with UAE embassy.

Both is not up to #2000 but the bribe to get out of there sharply after following due processes is #2000.

Am here @ the federal ministry of education with @valclint, Just to update dubai travellers that they will not authenticate your statement of result except you are with your transcript. You need endurance too sha ooooo

I was there on Friday and the fat civil defense guy at the gate told me to come back on Monday. He said they only attend to those that want to collect there authenticated certificate or eligibility. I waited and asked few people some questions.

One guy told me he came there on Wednesday and finished all processes, wanted to collect and start a fresh one.let's meet there on Monday by 9am.

If you are going for authentification, don't go there on Friday because they won't attend to you. #Lessonlearnt

No to one way ticket question and with the help of "kick-back" 9ja immigration will allow you but it is advisable you hold up to $1000. UAE no be sherekambia oooooo

Been in UAE for 8days now... Lovely place to be...this ppl too like tall buildings sha... Little advice if u are coming... A few perks :

A. When u land Dubai avoid getting a sim at the airport... I got a DU sim for 75aed cos Etisalat was 100aed and outside the airport in town na 30aed dem call am... I nearly mad.

B. I changed my dollars at the airport for 3.62...outside it's like 3.65 or so not much difference

C. Don't and I repeat don't listen to our fellow "Naija" men claiming to be private cab drivers trying to help u get where u need to get to. One guy met me inside d airport I said I was heading to sharja and he said ok he'd take me ther for 140aed that I won't get it cheaper... I look am I laff...called a friend and told him this he said I shd run.

D. What to do wen u land (Incase like me u land around 1am or before 6am) is ask anyone where u can get A Metro card (works for metro RTA buses and trains). Put like 30aed in the machine and get ur card... U get billed 6aed for the card and have 24aed left... Wait till 6am cos that's when metro resumes duty... Every drop is abt 3aed...so save urself small cash.

E. Don't pay anyone money for accommodation till u have seen its facilities eg the wifi, Ac, gas etc.



Hope I have helped someone here...btw if like me u r job hunting I stay close to Sahara Mall.... Beep me let's hunt togeda..
