A renowned civil rights activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, has ignited a firestorm on social media with a startling revelation.

Adeyanju, known for his vocal stance on socio- political issues, took to his social media account to allege that the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is purportedly devising a plan to hike the price of petrol to an astronomical N720 per litre.
He wrote: " They are planning to sell fuel for N720 per liter. God will judge Atiku, Obi & other PDP branches for allowing Tinubu & APC to come to power..."

"We Stand With You" - Nigerians Offer Solidarity To Nigeriens Protesting Against President Bola Tinubu

Citizens of Niger Republic also known as Nigeriens are protesting against President Bola Tinubu who is the chairman of the Economic Community of West Africa State.

The aggrieved residents of Niger Republic were in a viral video on Friday, August 4th chanting anti-Tinubu songs.

They wielded placards that bore critical messages about the Nigerian leader and this development is a result of Tinubu's stance to restore democracy in the troubled country.

The protest in Niger Republic against Tinubu is coming after a coup in the country which removed the democratically elected President, Mohamed Bazoum.

Further reports also state that Nigeria cut off the power supply to Niger Republic in line with an order from the Nigerian presidency.
Recall that the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), President Bola Tinubu on Sunday denounced the coup by military leaders in Niger Republic, saying Africa has come of age.
