Please any Plymouth Coventry or University of west England bristol students here?

Coventry Uni is quite good plus there's a large population of Nigerian students as well so that's a plus. Nightlife in Coventry isn't too good tho.


About the fees, you can pay in Pounds, it doesn't matter if you wanna pay in USD as well tho but it's gonna be more expensive because of exchange fee.

For accommodation, it depends if you're living in a student accommodation or in a house. If you're living in a student accommodation, you make payment three times a year, student accommodation is quite expensive tho, I'm paying about £5.5k for one academic year which is roughly 9 months but I'm in Birmingham tho, price gonna be similar as Coventry. The calculations are made on a weekly basis but you make payment in September, January and April. If you're renting a house, it costs about half the price which might be an option you might wanna consider.

I'm not sure about the other two Unis on the list. University of Birmingham and University of Leeds are two Uni you might wanna have a look at as well. Manchester is good as well as I'm planning on getting my Masters in University of Manchester next year.

Good day..i've always liked piloting...but the thing is that..my school didnt offer geography..and i heard piloting majors a lot in geography ..so if i were to pursue a career in piloting..would i be able to catch up with the geography aspect?..and please which flights school in africa or Europe..would you recommend ...average cost though..pls a quick response would be highly appreciated

Hello all, arrived Canada safely, was asked for My Letter of offer and acceptance at the POE, the process was pretty fast, just about 10 minutes. Thanks @folaroyal, @mikimiko, @mich V, @emma4eva and others. I wish all TRV hopefuls the best of luck.

You don't need to buy CAD coz actually no one will sell CAD for you. What bank sell for you is USD. I don't know what you paying for, if it is school fees, you either buy USD straight from the bank or you open a Dom account , buy usd from aboki or anyone and deposit it into your Dom account.
As regards sustaining yourself with little job, ofcourse you can, in as much as that's not where you intend to source all your tuition fees. You can always have your 20hrs/week job but I can bet you that's just for "sustainance" like you mentioned.

...I dmt know about that there are some that accept O level results...Am also going for undergraduate next year...Going for University of johnnesburg(UJ) and University of South africa(Unisa)...Unisa is much more affordable...Just visit their website www.uj.ac.za or www.unisa.ac.za....so email them for enquiries or call them directly ...Hope that helps...Keep me posted on how it goes....

And i stand to be corrected about the tution fees ...i just made the estimate...nd besides i heard that Unisa(University of south africa)is much more cheaper that UJ..i dnt know how true that is

Hey guys...am planning on applying for an undergraduate programme at University of johannesburg...School fees is ab8ut R27,000...and cost of accomodation is almost about R22,000...How much will it cost to get a place just close to the school...Low budget though...Is it possible to apply witj just WAEC nd GCE/NECO sittings pr with ISAT or TOEFL..Thanks

It is not a must you enrolled in their colleges but the bitter truth is that your waec is evaluated below their own matric .Meaning that you must have Waec + diploma or Gmat or TOEFL to be able to apply for undergraduate program .

I am not conversant with the admission process at the undergraduate level. But just as friendly101 said, do some ground work through UJ websites. Send mails and make calls and I sure u will have information. What department are u considering applying to?

1- I am not so sure about transcripts certification because it must be sealed in principle and addressed to wherever you want to send it,(I will still confirm this and let u know),
2- get both photocopies of passports data page and certificates, and their originals to any court. They should certify them there. I leave around Iyana in Ota along the road to Canaan Land. I have certified so many times at the Ota high court just in front of Honda company and it's 250 naira per page.

3- You can use any Express mail to send the documents to your friend in UJ. Just for him to give you the correct address.

I am also aware that the SA custom inspects everything coming into the country and that at times delays the mail and prolongs the waiting time on the receivers end.
I had the experience, i was in UJ and documents were sent to me. I expected to have them within the normal 3-4 working days but I didn't till I left. It arrived about 2weeks later and the explanation above is what I was given.

...Nice they are all nice courses..Go for chemical...cuz mechanical is quite technical..and petroleum is a narrow course..only limits you too oil companies
