The first one is like a flat-file database. Simply put Notepad.. It uses a notepad or text editor to store data even after the program stops running!! Enough of the explanation, the above program in number 1(one) is only trying to access a text document from the stipulated path name, the "while" statement checks if it really does exist.

2. Although I haven't debugged your codes but I think I have an idea of what that does, you see my friend when you actually want to determine the size of let's say a variable in the memory, such function could be used. In context to this program, it actually determines the memory size or actual size of each variables then proceeds by determining its arithmetic sum, of cause you know it provides the output!!!!

Your second code is wrong.

Why use int and float at the same time?

Code should have looked like this

 }

Now the first one apparently u using ofstream(file stream) which you must include the header file

Your code in number two adds your two variables. It promotes the int to a float (in order to enable the addition) and this results in an answer of type float. Thus, the sizeof operator gives you the size of a float, which on most architectures, is 4.

I am not a c++ geek but the system should be able to implicitly convert an int to a float or vice versa.
I think it returns the size of the number the answer in bits or something.my own guess

My dear,I checked the exchange rate on google before I made the transaction.The GTB rate is just way too high.
Anyway,lessons learnt.I withdrew 180 ghs today from Standard Chartered at Dzorwulu and was charged 10,871 naira.Maybe GTB decided to reduce it after my email and phone protests.

The thing seems to getting better.

The mistake you made was not checking the exchange rate on Google before u made the transaction.

Incase you don't know, Cedi appreciated big time against dollar last month while Naira depreciated. This also lead to the fall our almight Naira against Cedi from the previous #45.21 in July to #59.6 (closing rate in July)..

know that the #59.6 is the official forex rate. GTB sell to you with at least #+4 to forex rate with a constant charge of #420 for using Atm in another West Africa country. So the rate you got it was quite fair if you look at it that way.

It might interest you to know that: I experienced a worse transaction with GTB last 2 weeks. Gtb sold to me at #68.7 (33k gave me 480cedi), tho the Forex rate was 61.2 that day. Meanwhile, at a time in June, 41k gave me 800cedi...

So my advice is - Always work with exchange rate when dealing with GTB and if possible, don't withdraw when cedi is fluctuating..

Incase you see a better bank with fair exchange rate and transaction charges, be sure to mention me.
