Following the #EndSARS campaign which has gone viral in Nigerian cyber space, SaharaReporters has obtained an exclusive video of Nigerian Police special task force known as the “Special Anti Robbery Squad’ (SARS), blowing up balls of suspected kidnappers in Abia Sate they arrested.

The video which was recorded by one of the officers, captured the suspected kidnappers being chained to police vehicles where they were left to die a slow painful death.

Sahar Tabar, 22, from Tehran, Iran, has an Instagram account filled with snaps that show her with Angelina-esque razor-sharp cheekbones and famously plump pout.

A heart-renting video has emerged online; showing how Africans are being tortured in the ongoing slave trade in Libya.

Libya has recently been brought to the fore, mostly on social media, following claims of slave trade boom, alleged killings of migrants and human trafficking going on in the country.

In the video, some men were seen heartlessly torturing a man with his legs and hands tied while he’s being stabbed severally with knife.

The story of a 15-year-old girl, Slimzy Jay, real names, Jero Loveth, who reportedly committed suicide went viral yesterday. According to viral reports, it was said she drank Sniper, a rat poison, after her boyfriend, Ro Se, broke up with her.

There were rumors that Slimzy was faking her death, to be famous as there were screenshots of a purported chat that shows her admitting to faking it. Her sister however confirmed that, Loveth committed suicide, but it wasn’t because her boyfriend broke up with her.

Her sister revealed that investigations as to why she committed suicide with Sniper is still ongoing. She also debunked claims that she was pregnant before her death.

For allegedly stealing a Nokia mobile telephone valued at N5,000 and a cash sum of N170, a 38-year-old farmer, Mr. Francis Williams, has been sentenced to death by hanging by an Oleh, Delta State High Court, presided over by Justice A.O. Akpovi.

Akpovi sentenced Williams to death having found him guilty of the charge of armed robbery punishable under section (1(2)(a) of the robbery and firearms (Special Provision) Act Cap RII Volume 14 Laws of the Federation, 2004.

The court also found the farmer guilty on the charge of wounding with intent, which got him a life sentence and illegal possession of firearms with a sentence of 10 years imprisonment respectively.

The convict had on June 4, 2014 at a Palm Kernel Farm located at Ewu in Ughelli South Local Council, robbed one Mr. Noah Ovie and his assistant while armed with a cut-to-size locally-made gun.

According to the prosecution witnesses, nemesis caught up with the armed robber who was on a solo mission when he was in the process of robbing them of other valuables as the two victims summoned courage and overpowered their assailant.

In his desperation to escape after being apprehended, he bit off one of the fingers of the former Councillor, Noah Ovie, but his escape bid was foiled by passersby, who rushed to the scene and held him down before handing him over to the police.

The accused, who made a voluntary confessional statement to the police, admitted to have committed the offense but retracted same during trial. He called no witness but testified for himself while the prosecution called four witnesses in proof of its case.

Meanwhile, head of a public school in Benin City, Uwa Primary School, identified as Mr. S.I. Imafidon, was reportedly attacked by suspected hoodlums yesterday shortly after he resumed school.
