The calibre of men being recruited to serve in the Nigeria police is on the low side as revealed in this disturbing video of a drunk policeman ridiculing himself by sleeping in the mud.

Pictures from a new camera angle back up England star Dele Alli's claim that his middle finger gesture was not aimed at the ref.

A 100 level civil engineering student of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi (ATBU) has died from medical complications from an accident she had while travelling back home following the ASUU strike.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) received with great shock the death of Miss Etuk Brian Michelle, a 100 level student of Civil Engineering at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.

She had an accident on her way going back to Abuja where she based when ASUU declared indefinite strike.
She lost her life few days of medical complications.

On behalf of NANS, We wish to extend our sincere condolence to her family, May God give her parent the zeal to bear the lost.

We hope the Federal Government and the ASUU will settle their dispute and allow our students to resume back to school with immediate effect.

Assets of some of those already under watch could be seized when EFCC finishes analyzing the data in its possession and those under watch include some politically exposed persons, business people

Anti-corruption body Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has acquired full list of names and other information of Nigerians who have questionable properties in the UAE.

The Commission received a database of assets which are suspected to have been acquired with looted funds by former and others close to political power.

The Nation reports that the EFCC is presently analysing the data and funds linked to those under probe may be seized

An unnamed EFCC source said: “In line with its Beneficial Ownership laws, we have already a database of Nigerians with assets in the United Arab Emirates, including properties of some high-profile Nigerians under investigation.

We are already studying the database in line with our ongoing investigation and profiling. We have a long list of some politically exposed persons and businessmen under probe.... Click here to read more

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a Pastor who was paraded in his church premises, for reportedly killing and burying two children inside his Church for rituals in Ogun State.

The State’s Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the exhumed human parts will be taken in forensic investigation. The Pastor who confessed to the crime, said that the kids (male and female) aged 10 and 12 were killed for 50K each.

The Edo State PDP has called for the arrest of Adams Oshiomhole and former EDHA speaker, Elizabeth Ativie.

According to Edo PDP chairman, Chief Dan Orbi , the former Edo State Governor gave Hon. Ativie some government owned cars, which she later sold off. He said:

A Nigerian man today has gone on Twitter to cry out after he received a credit alert of over N7 million in his Diamond Bank Account.

The user, @raynergy, said the transfer was made by a company, though he didn’t disclose what company, but it’s been 24 hours, and he hasn’t been contacted by the bank or the company. He wrote;

Ms Cross later convinced the pupil's mother to let her son move into her house in a court-approved "partial parental custody" arrangement. The teacher said it would allow her to "mentor" her the boy.
