My daughters application is now closed on the tracker, hiwever the counterfoil and LOI are yet to drop, is this normal?

I cant say. I think the medical experts here can shed more light

Hello. You might be told to undergo medical surveillance when you get to Canada to ensure that its still latent. They could also tell you to undergo treatment for the next 3-6 months. It sont result in outright denial

They do not, with the notification, your passport is now with IRCC for stamping which takes about 3 days.

The flight costs depends on your travel date, if you are planning to travel between now and September 7th, there is a 90% chance you will pay above N2m, however,

Some keys that you can employ to search are
1. Change your device location to another country and try.
2. Use private browsing mode to search.
3. Push your travel date forward.

Honeeydrop, you do not need to be worried, IRCC will process the counterfoil, do not forget they have many requests they are also treating, once they get to your turn it will be done. If you submitted in Abuja, you can go for pick up now, if it was Lagos wait for another email telling you the PP is in Lagos. Meanwhile, I like your moniker.

So a mail from vfs just dropped that my daughters Passport has been received from IRCC and its at VAC Abuja. Her status hasnt changed on the passport and i havent yet received any counterfoil. Shouldnt the cojnterfoil drop first? Should i be worried?

The story is not any better for those that paid for transmission to Abuja. Infact, it appears worse going by the recent trend, hence, people started advising to go through Lagos. Something seems to be wrong with their logistics really. It might also not be unconnected with the volume of PPRs churned out lately, especially since someone who recently collected said they were almost 400 on the queue for collection on the day he went. Anyways, I still believe that 2 weeks plus of minus 1 week from the date you got notification that your passport has been dispatched to IRCC office will be a safe gamble to base your projection for collection on.

I got the acknowledgement that it was in transit to IRCC on the 27th of July. I get the same message when i track it on vfs website. The prompt i get is my processed passport has been sent to canada visa office on the 27th of July. It will be a week tomorrow since i got a mail from Vfs that my passport is in transit to IRCC. No confirmation that its at IRCC office yet.

When did you get the acknowledgement from VFS and what date did you get the notification of dispatch to IRCC Office from VFS Abuja? those are the important details and not exactly when you submitted.

Earlier on, i read where someone who submitted on 12th July narrated what he went through to collect his passport. So the more important date is not when you submitted.

Thank you. I am yet to get confirmation thats jts with IRCC. The last email i got from Vfs Was a week ago and it was that it was in transit to IRCC. The whole process is so slow. I wish i paid transmission fee to Abuja.

I think you can book your ticket, especially modifiable ones and just give an ample time and allowance. Given that you submitted July 21st and have received confirmation that it has been sent to IRCC, any day in September should be okay. Remember flight cost will not freeze for you!

Wow. Since 13th? And me that i submitted on the 21st is worried. Things are too slow sha. I havent booked my flight cos of this passport. Cant make solid plans. I havent even sent my notice of resignation to my work yet. Its tiring

That took a while o. I submitted July 21st. Tracker says passport is at Canada visa office. Is Canada visa office same as IRCC? Or is it still at VFS Abuja?

we went to pick my niece's passport yesterday, we got there around 10.36am, we left vfs 4.19pm. the queue was too long. collection queue was up to 400+. they waited till 12 to commence release of stamped passports. alot of grumbling by collectors

So sorry rry to hear this. I felt that way too when i was told my chest xray wasnt clear. Its just a suspicion, doesnt mean you have TB. If your wife is the main applicant, i doubt it will slow down her application. I went through the sputum test too, and my results came out negative after 3 months. In my case the doctor said i probably had Pneumonia or a major infection as a kid that left a scar on my lungs. The test is just to rule e out the possibility of TB. Thats all

So i am sorry your friend has to go through this. I know how it can affect ones morale haven gone through this myself. Every chest xray done by IOM is interpreted by IRCC in London. The panel physicians at IOM do not have the final. say. The result is usually transmitted to IRCC then interpreted by them. So all your friend can do now is to carry out the test. Its going to be 3 months of wait.I am afraid there is nothing IRCC can do because thats their procedure. If not she can be refused on the basis of medical inadmissibility

How does she deal with this? Should she inform IRCC herself? She has been advised to start her test by next week.

Just be positive. Exchange rate can not affect ur application if it has passed medical stage. Plus pray they don’t decide to double check ur pof.

IRCC requested for my husbands medicals. However mine was upfront. I did my medicals in April. My chest xray was not clear so had to undergo sputum test and a repeat xray which was passed last week. So my medicals was updated passed July 14th. What worries me also is the fact that our eligibility was initially completed on the tracker. It changed to In progress and has remained same since June 26. Hence my worry about the exchange rate and also my husbands mortgage banks license that we used for POF was revoked after we submitted our application. So all these has tripled my anxiety.

Mine is May 19th, medical passed July 10th and I haven't heard anything since then.
I have seen many May applicants that have gotten PPR this month. So it's best we wait.[/quote]w
