I wish we could boycott all this agents but most of the schools won't just allow, let me share my experience which as provided a green light, that I can deliver better than all these agents combined within this little Time, i applied for visa on the 9th of June, but visa still delayed, my so called agent told me I had to defer because resumption had elapsed and that automatically my coe had expired, several mails was sent to the school for deferment and new coe but no response, I did a rigorous research on my own to connect to the school myself until last week I remembered that one of the school representative came to nigeria sometimes this year, luckily I took his number an email address just in case I I have issues, I called him last week and he asked me to mail him with my issues, which I did, within a day school replied him that they were going to get back to my agent soon, fortunately they replied yesterday with a positive progress. In conclusion, if I had not taken the responsibility of getting to the route of the delay, maybe that's how my case won't be resolved. Please don't leave everything to the hands of your agents ooo, they are bunch of lazy human beings because there is no check and balances from the schools that pays their salaries. I hope someone will take the bull by the horn and start given ur agent close making just like martial of Manchester United did to the defenders of Everton within 5mins and he was able to get a concrete result with a penalty and a goal. Hopefully my issue and all our issues get resolved in a timely manner irrespective of the time lost by God's grace.

Helloo good men and women of this forum ...I'm new here ....My student visa was actually submitted on the 11th of August for a vocational school . In Canberra "Australia Capital College" which I got a mail from DIBP same day to go organize my biometrics which I did on the 14th due to the weekend in btw ...on the same 14th I organized my health examination which was finally cleared by the DIBP on the 18th "on my IMMI ACCOUNT" ....but ever since then I have only been checking my immi account and haven't gotten any mail by the DIBP .and my school resumed classes on the 30th of August it's the third week of resumption and I haven't heard anything .. I'm thinking of calling the department to know what the delay is .

Pls house ,Do u think I should go ahead calling the DIBP ? Pls someone should reply me.

You better just defer your admission and fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride with us till DIBP gives a new route to take, take the back seat pls, we have got the front covered already and they have been waiting for months, so yours is just a small tin for now. Enjoy the delay and be prayerful.

Very good job being done here. Apart from getting info from universities' websites and DIBP, I've learnt a lot from the real life experiences shared here since I stumbled on this thread last month. Well done everyone.

JCU Brisbane, March 2018, MPA on my mind. Did IELTS in July, passed, got admission 31st Aug, waiting to pay tuition this month/early Oct, get my eCoE, do the medicals in Nov and apply for the visa proper in Dec.

I'm just taking everything a step at a time, each step, carefully, cos for me, thinking of the whole process at once can cause headache and might even make one want to start doubting if it can be possible.

This Australian Study Visa application needs time, peace of mind, patience and strategy. I no know anytin o - just my 2kobo advice to those of us still waiting to apply.

Above all, may God crown all our efforts with favour and success, AMEN.

You better apply as early as October, australia embassy don change tinz oo, Na driver seat with your seat belt on almost everyone dey oo, it use to be 3 to 4weeks to get visa, but now u go wait for moses to take u to cross the red Sea. All the best.

Hey guys, pls I want to know if I can get my conditional offer without my transcripts. This strike is making it difficult for futo to process my transcripts(which normally takes 2 months), and am going for the Feb intake. I emailed the school and was told to send my other docs while they await the transcipt. Has anyone received an offer letter without transcripts?

I doubt it bro, mine was English Test result, until they got my test result, then they were able to issue me my unconditional offer then. Just pray they call of strike soon ooo. All the best

Relevant information about whether unis give it to students personally ces I've been told that they only send it directly to the school but now I need it to go to my agent. I've read somewhere on the Canadian thread a while back about folks that said they were given theirs by their schools but I can't find the page again. I wanna travel to my school but need to confirm from anybody that has an idea to avoid a futile journey homie. I ain't asking no illegal or dumb question so don't misconstrue my question.

This is a simple case naa, use the address of your agents company to process your transcript and your school will send it to them after u might av paid for the fee involved in processing the transcript. This is not a big deal, your school doesn't need to query the address, so just let school address it to ur agent and u will be fine.

deakins University... they are requesting i write to the school for d coe dey cant release d coe to me

And deakin is a good University, are u sure you gave them a genuine sponsor I wonder why they are requesting for a new Sponsor, I wish I could figure out a solution for u right now but honestly I don't have a solution for now, still brainstorming on this kind of issue. It is well bro, did u apply directly or with agent, if with agent, speak to ur agent to speak to the school, these agents have a way of talking to the school in a soft way in which they will listen compare to us directly doing it, depends on the tone we use with these universities sef.

please help... my agent is refusing to submit my application saying my brother-in-law cant sponsor me ... nd i ve done medicals already

That your agent is a very lazy person, didn't u provide him with all the documentation connection between u an ur brother in law, some agents are just so lazy, I blame those schools who will just seat down their in Australia and they will not have their own representative to checkmate this Naija agents that they assign to us. Just try and see the branch manager or head of that agent and make ur complaint, maybe he could help u out. Some agents needs serious spanking menh.

Thanks for ur response. But I already won Australian Government's Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship with CoE & health insurance. So do u mean I must rewrite d IELTS wen I still have one week before expiry & all I just want to do now is apply for d Visa with all d above documents? Pls still guide me

Australia embassy takes time nowadays to issue visa, so if you apply now and ur ielts expires in a weeks time, how do you expect them to go ahead with your application base on the expiration, its just logical, if I am in the shoes of the CO I won't give u the visa, no offence but look at it from this angle, imagine your international passport is less than six months and you are applying for visa, the CO will deny you because you should have at least 6months from expiration on your international passport before you apply for visa. In my own opinion I will advise you rewrite the ielts and defer your scholarship or better still if you can quickly write the ielts, results comes out exactly 13days from when you write the exam, then you can apply for visa, that is if the resumption of school is not so near, if not you have to defer. Australia embassy are not smiling again, so you need to just be ready for them so as not to see their red eyes. Hope this helps.

Pls House, I have two urgent questions:

First, can I apply for Australian visa with IELTS result that will be expiring one week from now?

Second: do they have priority visa for Australia, that is one that can be ready within a week or less? If so, any idea of d cost?

First, go and rewrite your ielts, one week expiration can't work
Second, you can't get visa within a week when you re not a Diplomat.

Oga sir its not hear say. I specified where I got the info from OK. Ring BCIE office and hear from them. I only posted it to help.

Sorry but BCIE is not DIBP, the assertion is base on BCIE's point of view because I feel they just want an easy application process, they may not be ready to go through the rigour of CO asking for additional documents when you use ur aunty of uncle as the case may be. For me, that's BCIE's opinion. Thanks anyway.

Very easy, calm down, DIBP hasn't stopped uncle's, aunties from sponsoring you. There is no official statement to back that up. Until there is one I won't believe what was posted earlier, if your aunty or uncle has to sponsor you, you need lots of conviction to prove to the CO that they can sponsor, a documentary and legal backing showing your connection with such person dats all. Hope my two cents will help you. No agent can tell u not use them, agents don't just want the stress of gathering documentary evidence to prove, these agents just want easy application process, so they always prefer you use your Parent or Spouse or Yourself as the case may be.

Haa thank you oo can a company stand as sponsor so i use the company soa without issues

It depends on the persons company account you are using, if it's your parents own, u have no much problem as long as he can write a Sponsorship letter and also show the relationship between you as his son to him, but if it another person's account that doesn't bear your surname, you will have to prove the connection you have with such person and d document must be notarized and not fake, if the company is a trading company, you no you have to have the cac documents to show for the Registered company trading account you are using. The main thing is to show a connection between you and the person's that owns the account you want to use so as to convince the Consular Officer, hope you understand

bro its about the fees...i am going for this course cos of its fee being relatively cheap...and bro can i pay semester by semester

If u wana come back after ur studies, then go for the 1.5yrs, but if not, ur best bet is to do another course of 5 or 6months to add up to the 1.5yrs, you pay semester by semester bro.

3. how easy is it to get a job after completing 1.5 years of education in this field.....the course is community service and its a diploma program

Always go for 2yrs course, even if it is a top up to reach two years, unless you don't want to reclaim your tuition fee after studies.

Na wa oo.

Conference starts in Sydney on 4th September, today 29th, Visa not yet out.

Why DIBP?

Why?

Is it because there is no Embassy in Nigeria?

One of the numerous reasons oo, that our foreign affairs minister is just flying up and down, there is nothing stopping us from having australia, and even Canadian embassies, etc in nigeria. We have a serious leadership problem, so we are bearing the brunt, may be in 50yrs or more we will get it right, for now we just have to bear all the delays and unnecessary excuses. It is well.
