"There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot Make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed"
--Ray Goforth

Now, They telling you isn't the issue, But you letting what you've been told determine your destiny, your next move . I tell people that not all laws are meant to be obeyed, The same way not all advice are meant to be followed. Sometimes you just have to Do the opposite of what you've been told. Please don't get me wrong here.

Believe in yourself, God believes in you. Go out there and be MAD - Make a Difference.
If you succeed, beautiful and If you don't, learn from your failure and Do it AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Happy Sunday friend, I trust your day was as AWESOME as mine.

Family / Friendship by HonSTONE(m): 2:20pm On May 22, 2016
If you want to go far in life, go alone But If you want to go farther, go with a friend who has the same vision.

Making friends is wonderful, you motivate each other, learn from each other, repeatedly encountering the person and opportunities to share ideas.

Anais Nin put it beautifully when she said, "Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born." Though some natural loners are happy without them, most of us depend greatly on the company of true friends. As with any relationship, friendships bring support and joy and occasionally strife.

Go out today and make friends If you don't have, But If you have, keep them. We all need one another to move forward. You can help someone today by being a friend.

Happy friend's day.

For it is written, Seest a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

No matter the position we attain in life, or the power we have, always remember, be diligent. Work with dignity and loyalty and at the end you will smile.

A Good name is better than silver and gold. Never sell your integrity.

Imagine today was your last day being alive, What will you do?

Only few persons will continue living the way they've lived, without being worried. But many of us will panic, That's when some will want to show love to their neighbors, help the needy and even preach the Gospel.

#smh, but Why?
Why haven't we done all this before, because we think there is enough time, no time my dear.

Start living your life as if it's your last day on earth, show love to the people around you, listen to that challenge of your friend and offer advise, spend time with your family, help the poor, and I tell you, you will live a Happy life.

Happy Sunday guys, God bless you.

Religion / Jesus Is The Reason For The Season by HonSTONE(m): 8:09am On Mar 27, 2016
Jesus is the reason for the season.

Years ago God sent down his begotten son to rescue man from his Adamic and sinful nature all because of LOVE . Jesus who was without sin was made sin, he was mocked, insulted, betrayed, beaten, spat on, nailed on the cross and pierced on the side.
And still Jesus said ' Father, forgive them, for they know not What they do'. All because of LOVE.

He gave his life for your sins and my sins, even though we ain't worth it. He died. Yes, Jesus died and when he died, The Father turned his back at Him because he was SIN.

JESUS had to go to hell for your sake even though he was innocent, he didn't do anything wrong. He fought with the devil, took the key of life and on the third day, He rose from the dead and gave that key to you, all because of LOVE.

And now we are no longer of the devil, we no longer have the Adamic nature but He has given us His life, ZOE, the God kind of life.

And to get this kind of life, all we need to do is to give our life to Jesus and take His. It's totally FREE. And it's all because of LOVE.

JESUS is the reason for the season, let's live our lives as true believers, always remembering What He did. We are CHRISTIANS.

HAPPY EASTER FRIENDS. LOVE started all this, let it continue. God bless you.

FEAR is actually False Evidence Appearing Real.
The reason many people fail in life isn't because they are naive or weak but because of FEAR. Even before they start something they conclude that they won't succeed.

I wrote an exam some days ago and initially I was scared because my older colleagues have complained about the course. Even my classmates were like 'if we fail, we fail. If we pass, we pass, last last I go come back next year '. But I just believed that I would Make it and when I saw the question paper, it was simple. I wrote the exam with a smile on my face. But I could see the sadness in my classmates' faces when they left the hall, I believe they didn't do well.

Last night my roommate were playing PS2016 and I said 'abeg Make I play one game, after all una go with win '. Lo and behold I lost twice. From 3-2 to 5-0.

Don't speak failure about something you haven't even started. Your words are spirit and life. Start speaking positive and success into your life and destiny.

Happy Sunday, I love you sir/ma.

Sometimes certain things don't go well as we planned, it's as if we are moving slowly or just on one spot. We've applied all the available principles but nothing seems to change.

All these occur because we tend to carry the load all by ourselves, I'm Sorry but you will breakdown.

Allow God take over and I promise you that you will go far.

Happy Sunday my wonderful friend.

Romance / What Is Love? by HonSTONE(m): 1:07pm On Feb 14, 2016
What Is Love?

Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection ("I love my mother"wink to pleasure ("I loved that meal"wink. It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment. It can also be a virtue representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals.

Non-Western traditions have also distinguished variants or symbioses of these states. This diversity of uses and meanings combined with the complexity of the feelings involved makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states.

Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.

Actually God is the exact definition of Love. I stand to be corrected.

Go out today and show love to your friends, family, enemies. Give someone food, clothes, hug, smile ,care, attention. That's the love I want to see.

Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Sunday. I LOVE YOU

Education / Create Optimum Balance by HonSTONE(m): 11:00am On Jan 17, 2016
Creating Optimum Balance

Do you know that When some students fail academically, they begin to blame some of the activities that took their time like fellowship work , politics, and extra curricula activities. But the truth is that these activities didn't fail them, they failed to balance things.

Some other students are also involved in these same activities and even more but they still do well academically. A great man said that as a students, we have more than 10,000 hours free from our year one to our final year. The question now is, how do you make use of these free hours.

There is time for everything, time to read, time to play, time for politics, time to gym, etc Just plan and manage your time.

When you want to read, read, When you want to play, play, When you want to work, work, don't ever miss them together. Create an optimum BALANCE.
Nobody wants to hear you Excuses of failure but rather your stories of success.

Happy Sunday fellas

Education / Our Education System Is Stupid by HonSTONE(m): 10:06pm On Jan 10, 2016
OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM IS STUPID

Last year I did a write up on ‘why I think school is stupid ‘, a lot of people criticized my work, some agreed with me. Actually school isn’t stupid but our education system is STUPID, pardon my language.

Our education system has taught us to go to school, graduate with a good result and work in a big organization (for instance oil company where most Engineering graduates would love to work in Nigeria).

The education system has taught us that A means SUCCESS and F means FAILURE, That’s why most students do ‘whatever’ they can to get an A. Please don’t get me wrong, Some persons work hard and get their As genuinely.

What I’m trying to say is that, the system rewards us because we are able to cram and reproduce what we are lectured because we are never taught whether we understood it or not. How Many of our final year students still remember what they were taught in year one? Only a few because all they did was, ‘La Cram, La Pour, La Forget ‘.

My question is this, why can’t the system teach us what we really need to succeed on our field in the outside world. In Nigeria, even after your University, the company you will be working for still have to train you for months. Why wasn’t I taught in school? Because even our lecturers don’t know it.

I installed AutoCAD 2016 on my laptop and took it to an architectural class, my lecturer told me that I wasn’t serious, that I should delete it and get a lower version. I was disappointed, he should have simply told me that he couldn’t work with it and that he was outdated.

I went for my ‘ELA ‘ ie Engineering Laboratory and I told my coordinator that the experiment was useless to me because it didn’t relate to my field. The lecturer said I was the useless one, and all my colleagues laughed at me. I was also disappointed.

I hate the education system of Nigeria, why then do I love school?

I met great men and women in school who impacted in my life positively. I have learnt a lot from my friends and other students in school, things that my lecturers will never teach me. I learnt how to speak publicly, I learnt how to cook, how to dance, how to play game, how to lead people, how to work with AutoCAD and archiCAD, how to market products, how to write and how toimpact lives positively, etc.

I learnt things relating to my field of study not from my lecturers but from outsiders.

What then do we need to succeed? The answer is simple – SELF DEVELOPMENT. Don’t wait for the lecturer, teach your self the things you really need. Go online and get materials. Meet successful people in your field to teach you what you need and finally DREAM BEYOND YOUR CLASS ROOM.

What solution do I suggest?

To me, the education system in Nigeria should be 40% theory and 60% practical. Have you ever wondered what if I go to school and my lecturer teaches me how to drive a car by Just giving me materials to ‘Jack ‘ and I got an A in the course because I reproduced what he taught me in the exam hall. But does that means I can drive? Hell No! I have to go to the field and practice. This is never done in school. I stand to be corrected.

We keep reading books that are older than our grand parents and the society expects us to be better. How can that be?

A great man of God told me that I need to be current, to be corrected so that I can stay connected. You can make a difference.

In school ,we are taught that When we graduate we should look for jobs and make some money but how Many of our lecturers teaches us how to really make money. The change we are looking for starts from you and I, Let’s make a difference. Let’s not focus only on our book work but learn other things, meet great people in school and change the education system.

Creating a successful future takes energy, effort and concentrated thinking.

Jokes Etc / Apology Note by HonSTONE(m): 10:46pm On Dec 28, 2015
I'm surprise, most persons are writing apology notes on Facebook, twitter and whatsapp. They are begging for forgiveness before the end of the year and I have decided to do mine but the opposite.

For those who believe I offended , ask yourself what really happened because I'm positive that you were at fault or maybe you never understood me.

For those I didn't call, ask yourself how Many times you called me.

For those I insulted, don't you think maybe you deserved it.

Those I didn't reply their calls or messages, how Many times have you bought airtime for me?

If you are still angry with me, please continue. I will enter 2016 with joy and peace of mind while you will enter with anger in your mind. Who are you fooling?

If this post offends you, I'm so Sorry, I never knew you could read or comprehend things.

Lol, happy new year guys.

Watch out for my next apology note.
