@IBB Fan:i am on celtel network just because of d free wap/internet gprs am enjoying.and maybe because of d 15 free sms.wen i activated my line to simply,and addeded 5 F& F,it was instatanta,i dont know why d hiccups now.i guess celtel shd upgrade their network,so as to meet up with consumer demand.make dem no 4get sai CONSUMER NA KING OF THE MARKET.dat axiom dey apply 4 naija at all.i cogitate reverse is d case,

@Alleno.my fone does not support the bible application in "wap.getjar.com"i hv tried dat several times,but it didn't work.Although am glad to tell you that using my opera to search through google i was able to get two sites that support JAR.i have already downloaded the bible into my handset.in fact,i even downloaded Amplified version of d BIBLE.thanks once more 4 ur concern

Yicob,u cannot browse web with wap activatn.ur line need web activatn,after which u can use mini and mig33.watch out

i just discovered dat int'l call using mig33 is #61 naira flat per minute.whereas call within naija,locally goes for #76 naira.i deem mig33 is gd and meant for int'l call.what do u think guys?

mig33 calls are exorbitant.imagine making a call just for one minute at the flat rate of #76 naira.although it is free sha,by recommending friends u wil get bonus.not just recommending,your friends must activate their mig33 for u 2 get d bonus.trust guys,i know hw 2 go about activatin and gettin my bonuses.

I have gotten what i want.all this while i had been eager to activate my line for Web,but to no avail.today i just activated my line and i got the web settings from a friend.am now using my mini opera and mig33.i have both d wap & web setting on my fone,& both ar working effectively.anybody interested should send me his/her email id for the web activation & settings.esprit de corps.

i discovered that glo gprs is not compatible with my LG U8180.i inserted my glo sim in another phone only to discover that i can browse.a glo customer care agent called me after i lodged my complain to them the following day to inform me that LG phone are not compatible with their gprs.in fact i argued with her vehemently saying,"how come i can browse with my celtel & MTN line"you know ignorance is dangerous.although their gprs is too exorbitant.i don't need any help again.

u cannot use opera mini to browse with wap setting,am having the same problem.for your info the only difference between wap &web setting is d APN:internet.ng.celtel.com.i stand to be corrected.but the major issue is that,your line MUST be internet enable.read the thread under MOTOROLA C975 by skipo87.check your wap setting very well.in fact post your wap setting so that i can see whether it is correct.or better still use the web setting that Lotuken sent to your email.

i will see what i can do.but can u insert ur sim in another fone to see if d G] icon will show.d main issue is 4 d icon to show,coz without d icon one can never browse.

as at d time of d stike we had commenced our exams,so d skol authority had no choice than to allow us finish our exam.i wil be gravitating to my domicile of choice  ending of this month.u see my departure is at hand similar to what Paul told Timothy[2 Tim 4:6] that last statement is  an "obiter dictum" in my profession(Law).d "ratio decidendi"is what name shd i write on d  envelope.

am in my skol,University of Ibadan & very soon i will be travelling 2 Jos my domicile.coz am thru with my exams.one more advice,buy another celtel line & try activating it using my previous guidelines given to you.i don't congitate u would want to travel to ibadan just to collect an activated celtel gprs line from me.my two lines are activated,in fact when i travel to Jos they will be of no use to me,coz Jos is not gprs covered.i will start using MTEL gprs in Jos,coz one can browse there with MTEL line.

@Eunisam.d free sms is peculiar 2 ur line.may MTN not end up blocking ur line.i hv a pal who uses celtel line who can send sms unlimited 2 any network.although i dont know as of now whether he still send free sms,although i doubt it.

@Bimbor:were u meticulous in following d guidelines i gave 2 u?if yes,i wonder why up till now u hv not seen d gprs icon.maybe i speculate,u are not in d celtel gprs coverage area.i activated two of my lines using d same process i gave u.in fact,one of d line i was told by a customer care in their office some times ago dat,it had been"de-provisioned"meaning i can no longer browse with d line,but 2 my amazement i was able 2 activate it instanta.in summary Bimbor,maybe u're not in celtel gprs coverage area.

@ajayi1:follow d steps i prescribed for Bimbor,am sure u'll see d G] icon on ur fone.

@skipo87.do u have active internet/web browser on ur fone?in other words,is ur line activated for internet browser.u can only use ur mini opera with an active internet setup.dat is the same problem am facing.if u want to confirm what am saying,use MTN line in ur motorola C975 u will discover dat urmini opera/migg33 will work.try it.
