No! You're already on Nougat, just download the recovery ROM and install via updater.
Once downloaded, move it to a new folder at the storage root and name the folder "downloaded_rom". Go to updater, collapse the drop down button and select "choose update package" go to the "downloaded_rom" and select the file. You'll need a WiFi to verify the package else, make your updater have access to your data for connectivity.

But I saw Redmi Note 4 on the body NOT Redmi Note 4X that was ordered.

Please, Gptech help me clarify this. I saw few members posting the pictures of their item on I do clearly '4X' at the body of the pack. Mine is just '4'.
