Phone na phone, it will work in any country... whether dual-sim or triple-sim.

Sirromey:
A friend was telling me I cannot use a dual sim phone there. How true is this?

Hint: you don't need to take up bag space with things like indomie or milo, you can easily get those at your local grocery store. Nigerian food stuffs are more expensive here so pack more of that.

starkyniichan:
Kakokako already listed a few lemme add a few more

- salt, Maggi, some seasonings
- indomie
- spaghetti
- grounded pepper
- Egusi
- milk, Milo

Tbh just come with everything you can bags you gonna check in at the airport only gets Searched by officials at the airport for money reasons... After you check in your bags at the airport in Nigeria they don't get searched till you reach your final destination only the ones you carry with you they get checked at each layovers if you have any.

Safe journey, wishing you the best

The length of PGWP you get is dependent on the length of your study, not the type of institution you studied in. If you study a 2-year program at a college, you still get a 3-year PGWP.

Chimzy4real:
thanks for your response. i am trying to process computer science for university of british columbia, on the requirement was a graduate with second class upper or a 4. in a 5point scale. now the issue is i finished with a 3.59 in a 5point scale which is also a second class upper. pls in your opinion do i still stand a chance. would have tried colleges but the 1year pgwp is a stumbling block, looking at PR in the future. your opinion is much needed. thank you.

Why go for study? Why not PR directly?

In any case, option 3 is a NO-NO.

oluwatosin12345:
what will be the best option base on visa processing for some one with 10years of BSC that wants to go for study route :
option 1. >>MSC ,
option 2. >>Post graduate diploma
option 3. >>diploma course

I don't believe that's a smart choice on many levels, including PR. Consider an MSc or Postgraduate College program.

Jjessicachizoba:
Hi, please I’m new here and I would be grateful for any information I can get.
I am applying to the university of Manitoba for a Bsc program.
My question is:
I am a Bsc holder and I have been advised to apply for a Bsc as that is an easier route. So I have to state I haven’t done a Bsc in my application, is that a wise decision?
My next question would be dependent on the response I get from this first question.
Thank you.

My recommendation will be: go for a Postgraduate program, whether PGD or PGCert. Also have in mind that a 2-year program will earn you a 3-year Post work visa, which is ample time to process your PR.

adeniyi3971:
Bro I have a 2.2 in Biochemistry, I’m working towards serving in a food company for my NYSC program hence I’m applying for food science or something related! Now here’s my question since I can’t apply into an MSc program, can I apply for either PGD, PGcert or Advance diploma? Cos I usually see these three all the time.

Also, what are the chances of getting the visa and also, what reason will I give in my SOP? Thanks in anticipation.

Airbnb is definitely legit, and regulated. But it's an expensive option. You may search for other accommodation options such as flat-shares or apartment-shares. Some schools also have Facebook groups advertising accommodation for incoming students.

You may also find kijiji.ca to be an excellent resource for your search.

Godsblessings:
the school accommodation is 1220cad, but it's filled up , the school recommended hotel inn downtown it's 85$ per night almost 1.2M for 14days , and when checked Airbnb , I saw booking at 45k for the 14days. Pls has anyone booked accommodation on Airbnb ? I think Airbnb is cheaper compare to other but I'm not sure about it's legit cos we need to make the payment to reserve.

Igbouwanile:
Which one is bank statement certificate again? Oga print your bank statement and use no complicate matter
The mybankstatement certificate is a typical request when you're sent the NSE letter. I'm told FirstBank will be onboarded soon.
