Hello all
I arrived in the UK since 2 weeks now and the post office keeps telling me to come back, that my BRP isn't there yet
Is this normal ? Please what do I do next ? Heard BRP ll be phased out by December. Could this be the problem? |

Hello everyone
Please if TB certificate will soon expire lets say June 10. and one uses it like that in application,
must one do biometrics before June 10 also ?
If no...can the expired certificate be taken abroad after visa is given or it's better to just do a new one totally
Please advise |

elengine: To whom it may concern.
Abortion is free of charge. Please note.
If you are on a student visa, no go get pregnant oh cos it may affect your stay unless your husband has got a COS and and take care of the family.
If you are here on care visa, no go get pregnant and then be looking for a way around. Many people are still looking for COS so don't spoil market fir them and for yourselves. A company that issues COS for you has an expectation and such must be met. If you need to born due to age, then your husband should go get COS. It is as simple as that.
Make una no go consult one useless union to fight for you oh, nobody will fight for you and if they Don, you are at risk of losing your visa. He who seeks equity, must do equity. Wahala ti wa ò 😃 |

Goodenoch: Yes there was an HMRC lawyers (G7 grade if I recall correctly) role open recently that stated this explicitly but some others don't. For instance there's a Government Legal Department one open now for 'qualified lawyers' but I know someone who got in as a Nigerian lawyer ok... thank you |

Goodenoch: They can apply for civil service roles covering legal (many employ you with your Nigerian LLB/BL and give ~two years to convert), compliance, GRC etc. It's mostly dependent on what their prior experience is. Hello , did you say two years? please is there a link that I can read further on this ? I'm interested as well. |

Akhat: Good morning house. My wife has been applying to different care homes and agencies for sponsorship. She recently changed job from Domiciliary care worker to support worker and her agency does not sponsor. It's been difficult as she is only getting offers from agencies and care homes that are not sponsoring, while she is getting rejection mails from the ones providing sponsorship. This month January will make it 6 months care experience. We have even tried outside our location (liverpool), as far as Scotland and Northern Ireland still no positive result. Our student visa expires in few months time, and presently can't afford PSW for the whole family. Please we need help. If anyone knows of any agency or care home that is giving sponsorship should kindly assist please. God bless. Don't know if I'm right or wrong but won't the new rule concerning new care visas affect your family? |

dee1504: 1. YES. You can give a different address as to what MA since anyone can change their accommodation at anytime.
2. Since you are married, i believe you are an adult. So I see no reason why the usage of multiple middle names. That could reduce the credibility of your application as the 2 middle names could mean different people and also mean you are trying to impersonate someone else.
What you can do:
1. Apply for a change of name either on your passport or on the marriage certificate.
2. If the above is impossible, get a sworn affidavit stating that the bearer of both names is the same person.
3. Go into fasting and prayer that UKVI should not reason your matter.
I hope this helps. |

Hopefullllll: Good day good people I'm new on nairaland. Just registered but ve been following this page for some time now.
Please I ve questions🙏🏽 1. can a dependant visa applicant give different UK address to the one given by MA during his own application? As per TB test.
2. Please guys help with this scenerio. Female name appear as (example) Uche Michelle Adeyemo in marriage certificate and did newspaper publication change of surname ONLY without saying she wants to change her middle name also. And just put another middle name : Mary in the newspaper and affidavit , not Mitchelle.
Ie Uche Mary Adeyemo wants to change to Uche Mary Guma
Now passport bears Uche Mary Guma. No change of name affidavit was done to notify about the middle name change.
Summary. Middle name on passport is different from middlename used during marriage certificate
Please will this pose a problem? See as people dey jump & pass my question... It's well o |
