Everybody is shouting see an ENT DOCTOR as if you won't first book a very long appointment before you see them.

Thanks, I am just exhausted.

I understand why people don't want the whole hospital thing. but I also know you're aware that it's important so let's just leave that out, and focus on other things you can help yourself with.

1. Protect your ears around loud sounds

2. Go to a known pharmacy around you and ask to see a pharmacist, and talk to them. They may recommend a different drug for you so that you can discontinue this one.

3. If this is the first time you're taking A/L during working days. It could mean that you are extra sensitive to the drug. If it is not, talk to the pharmacist about it.

4. Eat and rest well. Ask for any affordable vitamins you can take too. And take your drugs with food.

If it persists after the period the pharmacist gave to you, you will be referred to a hospital. I think this is an easier way to go about it. I wish you a fast recovery Wisdom

On Tuesday (21-12-2023), I was having serious fever, so went to buy an over-the-counter malaria drug and one flu tablet. The lady chemist told me to use 4 tablets in the morning and 4 in the afternoon for the malaria drug, but for the Flu medicine, I should use 1 tablet in the morning and at night. I took 4 tablets in the afternoon that day. On the next day, which is Wednesday, I took 4 tablets making 8 tablets in total plus 1 Flu tablet, A few hours after I took that medicine, I felt a sharp pain in my left hear, after which the pain subsided.

I am Welder by profession, I went to work that same moment, at work, I was using a grinding machine to grind iron to make iron smooth, the machine makes noise, but this day, as I was grinding, I could feel something in my brain or inner ear bringing buzzing sound or noise into my ear, after grinding that iron, I couldn't ear anything, all I was hearing is just noise.

The next day, which is today Thursday, I could hear people speak but they have to be loud, and my ears can't tolerate noise at all.

To go hospital hard me because I no gallant because of the series of test they will have me run which will expend my money I don't have.

My question is to the learned health practitioners in the house, should I give it time for it to heal on its own or I should go to the hospital for doctor's opinion on the matter.

Attached are the medicines for your scrutiny, I hope it is not one of those fake drugs.

Hi Wisdom, Good Evening.
The bulk of research work may show that Artemether/Lumefantrine combination is free from the side effects of hearing loss, and the common drug that causes this is Quinine but a few studies have shown Artemether/Lumefantrine to also cause a loss of hearing. It is quite different from the way quinine causes its own and may only occur in a few persons. It may be triggered by extreme sounds and it is reversible.
Your antimalarial dose was normal for an adult. There are single tablets with the same strength too. You take them if you don’t want too many tablets. Your flu drug contains something that can make you feel sleepy and it’s not suitable for you to take it during working hours because you are operating machines.

Lastly, you should
1. When you are taking medications try to give yourself time to recover before you fully expose yourself to any harsh environment.
2. please get trusted brands of medicines at trusted Locations to avoid unnecessary wahala
3. See a doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Romance / Re: What Does It Mean When Lady Shares Intimate Secrets With You? by horia: 2:05pm On Dec 22, 2023
4KNGOATS:
Yes what does it mean when a lady goes as far as sharing intimate secrets like telling you when she's menstruating, how long the stuff takes, how she's feeling currently.... Who she's seeing, how she feels about some specific types of guyz.....?
It could be because she is lonely and looking for someone to fill the space at that time until things get better.
You can help as much as you can but don’t get too attached.
Btw this is just one of the reasons

The fear shaa. I just can't stand it. For the past two weeks I've been trying to muster courage for this but no way.
I wanted to do it last week Wednesday but when I got close to the hospital, I lost every courage in me, I had to change direction, entered a cool joint, took some bottles of beer and headed home.
I just wish someone can drag me there but I can't confide in anyone Incase if it turns out positive

Go there by yourself to reduce the tension. But you have to go because the fear can make you to start imagining symptoms that do not exist

isn't that corruption? Our sense of justice in Nigeria is sometimes wack

You knew you were not qualified to handle a job yet you took the offer illegally.

How would you feel if you went to a hospital and they told you the person to treat you is "50% qualified" to treat you

I came across a video on Nairaland where a pastor was praying for a yahoo boy against "stubborn clients" not paying up. When Oyinbo refused to allow himself/herself to be defrauded, he/she becomes a stubborn client that pastors are supposed to pray against

Do you know the duties of HR in a company, and what they do to underperforming employees?
Somehow you think everyone who gets this does it by corruption.

Or maybe you think employers only search for people with the best qualifications since they don't know how to spot good potential. We are talking about experts here brother. They are experts. The man up there had good potential but could not even see it. He was humble enough to admit his inexperience and dedicated enough attention to his role to allow growth.

Come to think of it, how many persons remember their dreams or understand them enough to apply them in real life? How many people even get productive dreams?
Do you think any mind who gets this opportunity will scale through without the management noticing inadequacies? Do you think the management is dumb?
To the OP who by God's grace was able to contribute sufficiently to the company and also had a significant self-development in his career, Congratulations brother

And please congratulate him too

Good move. Nigeria must do this next.
African countries can't be training medical and health practitioners for 1/50 the cost of the UK. Only for the same beneficiaries to leave the system and be of use to a society that did not train them.
Insult me all you can but when you or a loved one is having a medical issue and you are stuck with an auxiliary nurse and you have to be on a 3hour queue because there are few doctors on standby, then your eye will clear. Unfortunately, you will blame Buhari or the next president.

Your analysis is direct and really expressive. I think you’re almost intelligent.
Maybe if you also tried to analyze why a large number of persons would make a similar decision your thought pattern would experience a breakthrough.

Tattoo stereotyping is not only in Africa. Even the americas and Europe has it.

In this unusual time, the church has witnessed enough persecution, she does not need another one from a deranged individual

For the fools talking about tithes, we love God that's why we give it, it's none of their business.

The young people in this country ll never hold their leaders responsible for mortgaging their destiny but they ll be persecuting the church which is the only semblance of sanity we have left.

I don't stand against Godfatherism, I stand against bad godfatherism. Obaseki made his decisions because of what he saw. During campaigns people say a lot of things but Eliot fully understands what Obaseki meant by that statement and for a young politician like him

‘I’m a product of godfatherism but Tinubu has never for one day asked me to do something you know would be detrimental,” he said.“

It isn't!

You can't tell me you need to own a car to be termed successful. The poverty & lack of basic amenities/infrastructure has reduced us to celebrate basic necessities of life.

Do you think someone in the UK will celebrate buying a regular car?

You don't even need a car in sucj clime because their transportation system is close to perfect!
Well wink he just told you
